Super Cute & Cozy Apartment in Downtown Mystic!

I understand that this apartment wasn't the best fit for Robin's stay. It has been updated with new flooring, a brand new mini split system and I personally think that it does look like the photos. I think it just wasn't to her taste since she bought decor items to decorate it with. The hot water heater died while she was staying and she suffered for a few days without letting me know about the lack of hot water. As soon as I was informed, I immediately addressed the issue and a new tank was installed within 24 hours. I'm glad she enjoyed her stay in Mystic.

Susan’s review stems directly from an excessive refund demand after an oversight was already fairly resolved: ​Coffee Beans & Extortionate Demand: When she noted that coffee beans were missing, I offered a $20 refund for the inconvenience. She rejected this, claiming the $20 was not enough. I declined the excessive demand and issued the $20 refund anyway—more than sufficient for two premium café coffees. ​Front Door & Check-in: While finishing turnover at 2:00 PM, I noticed humidity made the front door slightly sticky. At 2:07 PM, I proactively messaged her with the exact tip to pull the door toward her. Her husband opened the door without issue upon arrival, but when she had trouble after he stepped out, she messaged at 4:00 PM. At 4:01 PM—just sixty seconds later—I resent the entry code and instructions. ​Wi-Fi: The listing features fast, brand-new Wi-Fi. The updated network credentials were sent to her at 11:39 AM, well in advance of arrival. ​As the person who booked the reservation, reading timely messages is essential. I take pride in responsive hosting and fair problem-solving, but I do not capitulate to inflated refund demands when thorough instructions and generous compensation have already been provided.
