Such a lovely cottage in the best place, Mintaro. If you want peace and quiet, gorgeous surroundings this cottage is perfect. Lots of room and smells for my dog to explore. The house was so warm once we got the fire going, although there was other heating options if you wanted. The cottage was both welcoming and cosy. A very short distance to Mintaro and so close to the wineries of the Clare region. Communication with the host was very good. The house was spotless. Will definitely stay again.

Tickled about Tickles Cottage

A very comfortable place to stay. Loved sitting in the verandah, painting, drinking wine and soaking in the lovely country atmosphere. Also loved being out of the way but close enough to anywhere we wanted to be! Loved the Magpie and Stump Hotel too!

Great place to stay

Loved the house and was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds. Was very pleasant sitting on the porch having breakfast overlooking the sheep and the odd kangaroo. Had everything we needed. Lovely quiet rural position and close to Mintaro, Clare and wineries. Was great we could take our little dog who enjoyed it a lot. Can definitely recommend his stay.

A home away from home

We are lucky to live in an 1854 cottage and very much appreciated the restoration of Tickle Cottage, the furniture and all of the quality kitchen equipment
