We love this review, Amy—it reads like a postcard from a perfect bay day! We’re so glad you soaked up all the good stuff: hammocks swaying, kayaks drifting, and that lily pad turning the water into your personal floating lounge. It’s basically a choose-your-own-adventure spot. And you nailed the trade-off perfectly—being about 25 minutes from the Seawall means you get something a little harder to find: quiet mornings, starry nights, and zero traffic noise competing with the breeze. It’s our little pocket of calm just outside the buzz. Come back anytime—we’ll keep the hammocks ready for their next shift!

We love hearing that the comfy beds, endless hot water, fluffy towels, dock lounging, fishing, kayaks, and family-friendly layout helped create a great getaway for your crew. Sounds like the porch earned its keep as the unofficial vacation headquarters. We also appreciate you sharing would have liked to have seen. While features like a green fishing light, fish cleaning station, and additional bedroom TVs are not currently listed amenities, we always value hearing what guests enjoy having during their stay. We’re glad our Crew was able to assist when needed and that the home had everything else to keep your family comfortable and well stocked. As for the dishes, yep, that is exactly what happens and our housekeepers do try to catch it when guests put away dishes, while run through the dishwasher, aren't scraped and cleaned the way they should. Sorry about that. As for the key location, we do share it's exact spot on the 1-page inventory list you initialed (paragraph in yellow highlight) and also send an email 3-days in advance with access instructions as well. Sorry if you missed those both. Glad we could get the AC fixed quickly and all was "cool" for you! Again, thanks so much for staying with us! We hope you'll be back!
