The baby bear cabin was fantastic! We celebrated a birthday and visited Dollywood. This cabin was clean - had all amenities including a hot tub and jacuzzi tub! Starlink internet was a major plus! Thankfully no bears were seen during our stay.

We booked this cabin for our anniversary, and everything met our expectations. The check-in instructions were clear, and the cabin was clean & ready to enjoy! Although there are neighbors you could hardly tell they were there, it was quiet & private. The hot tub had no issues, and the bed was cozy. Our little dog enjoyed himself as well! We will definitely book again if we have the chance!

Good Morning Jennifer, Thanks for taking the time to review my Baby Bear cabin! While I'm happy to see you enjoyed most aspects of your stay, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy others. There are other cabins that are in the Smoky Mountains and some are in the same area as my Baby Bear Cabin. However, with the layout of the area, there are unobstructed views of Mt. Leconte and the rest of the Smoky Mountain chain, especially from the back deck. I have these pictures on the listing page so all my upcoming guests know what to expect when booking and staying at my property. Again, thanks so much for your review and I truly hope when travels bring you back to the area you will give me the opportunity to host you and yours once again!

This was a tidy, cozy property with a great view. There is a neighbor directly next door, but I felt like I had plenty of privacy. It was a great size for my purposes and I was comfortable working there during my stay. When I reached out to the owner, they answered promptly and very helpfully.

The view from the balcony is incredible! There were mimosa trees nearby that smelled amazing, especially at night. The hot tub on the balcony was nice, even though I wish the lights had worked. Inside, the cabin was clean, well-equipped, and featured very nice black bear decor. The queen bed was also incredibly comfortable! However, it’s better to bring your own toiletries because the provided shower gel and shampoo would have lasted for only two or three showers. The cabin has a wonderful ambiance and offers a lot of privacy. The electric fireplace is really pleasant and adds to the coziness. The thing that bothered me most, however, was a musty smell inside that we couldn’t get rid of despite airing the place out (though perhaps I’m just sensitive to smells). Also, the bathroom walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling, which I imagine could be problematic for some guests. Overall, it’s a great cabin, and the absolute best part is the amazing view of the mountains.

Amazing place!

Absolutely loved this place and so did our pup. The view is spectacular and the cabin so cozy and perfect. We had an issue with the fridge when we got there and maintenance came out, he was super polite and was also a dog lover. Great experience overall! Just a heads up, the property manager doesn't respond to messages, you have to call them. But they'll send you how to check in and check out via message lol.

Peaceful weekend

My wife and I were looking for a small secluded cabin; although there was a cabin next door, the setting was so that we couldn’t even see them except from the road. The road was a dead end, so there was very little traffic. We did not want to be near all the commercialized atmosphere of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but could get there with a short drive. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Cute little getaway

Overall stay was great. A few things need fixed. The Hot-tub didn’t work due to a flow issue half the time the jetted tub needs some work, some light bulbs were out on the porch, Wi-Fi was in and out but that’s normal for broadband . But overall it was a great stay. Property owner answered my messages quickly. Will stay there again.

Misled about property

I wish I had been told that the parking area was extremely small. Also the knobs on the shower and hot tub are awful. I don’t think they plan on fixing it. Other than that it was a nice stay. Cold AC and great view. Pretty close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge.

Great Cabin with Beautiful View!

All together this is an amazing cabin. We really enjoyed it. It was nice and clean. The filter was clogged when we got there, but that was resolved super fast. Very cozy for 2 people and has everything you would need. Close to all the attractions too. My spouse loved the drive up, but I was not a fan (heights in general are not my thing). The roads are very narrow with lots of turns. So beware if you share the same fears. It was worth it though! I can’t say enough about the view! The only negatives were that the hot tub was temperamental (could get it to work about half the time) and the bed is very hard. All in all, we would definitely book this cabin again!
