A cozy cabin located near the 16th hole of the Links golf course. It sits on a large property that backs up to a small creek, with a natural spring and friendly neighbors. During fall and summer, the backyard has a picnic feel with plenty of space to enjoy the woods. This location is also 50 feet from the golf course walking trail. In all, the property is centrally located for any Ruidoso attractions such as golfing, skiing, mountain biking, etc.. In addition, it's very close to midtown, restaurants, movie theater, grocery store and ski shops.

Great Rental!

We enjoyed unwinding and being lazy for a few days. There was a nice walking path close by that the Village cleared the snow. House was well maintained and very comfortable!

For a weekend this house would be great however for long term it was not. There was no room in the kitchen to put groceries and supplies. There is way too much in the cabinets. We didn’t need all the dishes, pot and pans and cooking utensils.We needed space and our supplies had to be on top of the washer and dryer.The patio was ok but all the furniture was awful. It needed painted and the cushions were molded. There was a table and chairs under an awning but there are feral cats out there and not pleasant to deal with the smell.The WiFi was not good and went in and out a lot.It was adequately cleaned and a cute place but the air conditioning left a lot to be desired. It was very noisy and we had to run it all the time to keep the house cool. We were there for a month. We would not rent it again.

Amazing Stay

We stayed here on and off for 2 months and hope to come back next summer! The cabin is very homey and welcoming. Excellent quality amenities. Location is close to activities and grocery store. Very nice neighborhood. Close to golf course and hiking trail. Absolutely loved it!

Perfect location!

Lovely home and perfect sized for us and 3 dogs. We had many elk walking through the back yard nightly. Neighborhood was very safe with adjacent to Links golf course and a wide walk/bike path. Home was clean and neat with board games, 2 bikes, TVs, huge decks for relaxing and 2 portable ac units which kept us cold even with summer temps in the 90’s. Be sure to drive to Cloudcroft and White Sands if you can. Owners live in town and were super responsive and very pleasant.

Fabulous Place

We had a Amazing time in Ruidoso. This home is beautiful, modern and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s very clean , there is hammocks & bikes to enjoy , a barbecue grill, a gazebo with lots of outdoor seating. We will definitely want to stay here again . The price was great considering how beautiful the home is . We are very happy and satisfied with are stay in this beautiful home. Thank you very much for having us.

My family and I stayed here December 28 to Jan 1. This house is perfect for a vacation of any kind. The house is beautifully decorated and the owners are amazing. I will definitely go back when I make another trip to Ruidoso!

Cozy & Comfortable. Great location.

We loved our stay! The first evening, only 45 minutes or so after we got there, a sizable herd of elk came into the lot right across from us and hung out for a little while. We got great pictures and loved watching them! The second day we were there, it snowed for several hours in the morning and it was just breathtakingly beautiful. We built a little snow baby and hung out in the cozy house and watched movies. Town is just a few minutes drive and the ski mountain is about a half-hour or so (20+ minutes of which is the winding mountain road itself). The location is perfect for a variety of activities and the little neighborhood area is quiet and wooded and really beautiful. We really enjoyed it! The house itself is exceptionally clean, the kitchen has a great variety of the things you need to cook a meal. Found everything we needed. Descriptions and pictures were very accurate and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this vacation home without reserve.

The house was clean, nicely decorated, great location and had about everything one would need.

Location of the house was great, we were in the middle of everything and yet away from it all. The furnace was a little noisy, but given the freezing conditions it kept the house nice and warm. The owner was very helpful in suggesting the perfect place to get some good Mexican food.

Thanksgiving in the mountains

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy house! Everything is just as it states in the pics and description...we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a clean, new smell! Everything in the house is very well thought out and remembered! We cooked some dishes to take to a friend's place for Thanksgiving, and we were pleased to find all the pans and common utensils needed to make it happen...the bed linens and blankets were fresh and new and all the beds were super comfy! We're a big ski family and we will definitely be back many more times during the ski season! This property is top on my list for my little family to return to!!!

My parents moved to Ruidoso after retirement because they loved the location during a family vacation through New Mexico. Mike and Alma live two doors down from this property.

Why they chose this property

This property was purchased in the 90's. However the land had nothing built at the time. We loved the location and its easy access to stores and attractions. This home was a long term rental. However, it always became inconvenient to have family members unable to stay in Ruidoso. Therefore we thought we would make this property a home that we could use for family events and also make available to guests like you. "Our casa es su casa"

What makes this property unique

The property has a big back yard that backs up to a small creek. During the warm days, guests can enjoy the yard space and picnic style BBQs. In the event of family reunions, we could accommodate chairs and tables to enjoy a back yard lunch or dinner. The location is centrally located with easy access during the winter road conditions. Close to the property is the golf course walking track, cree meadows, movie theatre, tennis courts, gas station and mountain biking trails.
