The cabin or property did not disappoint as far as the quaint, quiet, and private location. The Mountain View was awesome and I could only imagine how beautiful it would be in autumn. The main distraction for me was the TLC the property was in need of. This included the outside landscaping and the deck. Both of which were in need of better care. This lack of TLC was not isolated to outdoors but carried into the cabin. Once I opened the door I noticed rotten wood at the bottom of the door to the point the door jam was broken. This includes the sliding glass door itself. A section of the floor showed signs of deterioration and was soft and spongy when stepped on. Needless to say we avoided the sliding door. Furthermore on the walls as you enter there are many scars from the years of suitcases and bags rubbing against the wall and on the wood floor. It was to say the least a disappointment when your expectations are high considering the beauty of the pictures for the property listing. As far as clean and fresh, the cabin was well cleaned except the oven on the stove. It really needed a thorough cleaning. The towels and sheets were clean and fresh and the bed slept well. The stay was relaxing and comfortable but the cabin truly needs some TLC.

We're glad the quiet, private setting and mountain view came through for you, and that the towels, sheets, and bed were comfortable. On the door and floor, the door locks effectively and the floor at the sliding glass door has been repaired and isn't spongy. The deck structure is solid, and the property is mowed and weed eated weekly. We'll have our cleaners give the oven a thorough cleaning. Thank you for the detailed feedback.
