Very very beautiful house. Fantastic area, close to the sea, mountains (for hiking and cycling) and lovely cities nearby to visit. The host is very friendly and super helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

This house is fantastic, it has beautiful views and is very peaceful, yet is only a few minutes away from restaurants/beaches/towns with tennis courts and padel courts a 3 minute walk away.By far the best part of this stay has been Gerard and Jo, they are great hosts and have gone above and beyond to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

Great rental

The house is a great authentic feeling house with a beautiful view towards the bay. The pool is great, and was (naturally) consistently at one of the best temperatures of pools at rentals we have stayed in. Very comfortable in general, and well located for exploring the area.

Gerard was charming and was an exceptionally helpful and accommodating host. Property ideally suited family holiday (two generations) with two dogs. All bedrooms had air conditioning which was really appreciated. Pool was exceptional - large and warm! Thanks so much.

Exceptional villa, very private

An excellent week in August with our family of six - children ranging from 7-14 years old. Villa was a perfect getaway after 4 busy days in Barcelona. Pool, terrasses, boules, a few miles from the busy town of Roses, but villa is extremely private. Gerard was very helpful in providing local information on restaurants, markets and activities.

Nice villa with beautiful view and even better hosts

We had the pleasure to stay in this very nice and quiet villa for 8 nights with 6 adults and 2 teens. The villa is equipped with everything you can ask for and in case you might miss something, Gerard is very eager to help you out. Although the weather was not perfect, there was plenty to do in the surroundings, from hiking starting in the backyard to visiting one of the every nice Spanish villages at the coast. This is a place to definitely return to.

A stunning villa with very helpful hosts

We were hugely impressed with the villa, the stunning views from the terrace of the Bay of Roses, and the wonderful hospitality of our hosts Gerard and Jo. We were greeted by Gerard and given a tour of the villa, and Jo had made delicious 'aperitivos' to welcome us. We didn't get the best of weather during our stay, with heavy rain on some days, but this didn't matter, as we could enjoy the stunning views relaxing on the terrace at all times. A lovely villa and highly recommended.

Fabulous villa in a lovely part of the world

We stayed for 10 days in this fabulous villa. The pool is amazing, swimming whilst overlooking the Bay of Roses, really great. The rest of the villa was also excellent, including an outdoor BBQ area that included a paella stove. We had 10 days of sunshine and managed to visit lots of beaches and attractive towns. Cadaqués is lovely and it is worth the extra drive over the border to visit the magical Collioure in France, taking the scenic route. The villa owner, Gerard, was really friendly and helpful. Definitely a villa and holiday I’d recommend.

A Slice of Heaven

Everything about the Villa was amazing. Gérard was the most accommodating manager. Upon our arrival, he guided us around the vast house to show us all her ins & outs and special qualities. The kitchen, veranda, and pool were all perfect for our needs and enjoyment. The location is just the perfect distance to the beach and other area attractions, most other beach towns were a short 30 min drive away. 5 stars in every way. We will all be back!

Stunning Private Villa

Loved this villa. Private grounds. Not overlooked. Large pool that gets the sun most of the day. Lovely terrace to have your meals. Close enough to the town and supermarkets but just far out enough to be secluded. Perfect place to relax and just 10 mins away form the hustle and bustle of Roses with plenty to do. The hosts were lovely and friendly and just a whatsapp or phone call away should you need anything. Thank you Matt & Rosie

Magnificent villa in Pau, Girona with a sea view

The villa is simply put, gorgeous. Exactly as in the pictures in the listing, there's no a single shred of exaggeration. All is exactly as depicted. Plenty of bedroom for two families even. The valley and the sea view are magnificent. Dining on the veranda was one of the best experiences. The air is fresh, the garden is very well maintained and the pool is awesome. The host is welcoming and very helpful. Overall, the experience was phenomenal! 5 stars all the way.

Nous avons passé fin juin 1 semaine en famille avec enfants et petit enfant dans les meilleures conditions possibles. La communication avec notre hôte a été facile, réactive, très simple, et le lieu correspond tout à fait à la description qui en est faite sur le site. La maison est bien située, au grand calme et vraiment dans la nature. Les équipements sont parfaits en quantité et qualité pour ceux qui aiment farnienter, faire la cuisine...l'ensemble est très bien entretenu, Gérard toujours disponible a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible.Il est très vraisemblable que nous revenions :-)Gérald

Notre famille au complet (nos enfants, petits-enfants et nos 2 chiens nous ont accompagnés) a passée une semaine de vacances formidable dans cette grande demeure en hauteur avec une vue splendide sur la plaine (la brume le matin a donnée des photos magnifiques). Le chemin de randonnée qui mène par la montagne au monastère de san pere de rodes passe au bout de la propriété. Distance Aller et retour 12 Kms, un pur régal par temps clair pour bénéficier de vues magnifiques sur les montagnes catalanes et la mer. La proximité de Figueras, de Roses et Cadaqués permet de nombreuses sorties culturelles et gastronomiques. Je tiens à souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Gérard notre hôte.

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub in Pau erlebt. Ein wunderschönes Grundstück und eine traumhafte Umgebung. Ein sehr sympathischer Vermieter der jederzeit ansprechbar war und uns gute Tips für Aktivitäten gegeben hat. Der Pool war beheizt und wurde täglich gereinigt. Von uns gibt es 5 Sterne.

Romantik in der Nähe von Roses

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Pau bei Gérard und Jo. Das Haus ist gut gelegen direkt an einem kleinen Wandergebiet. Ideal für mit dem Hund auf eine Tour zu gehen. Das Haus versprüht eine romantische Note. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, alles war vorhanden.

Fantastisch uitzicht om bij weg te dromen.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Fantastische locatie en voldoende ruimte in de woning. Een zwembad ( piekfijn onderhouden ) waar het hele gezin vele aangename uren heeft doorgebracht. Het slaapcomfort was minder. Twee van de zes kamers hebben airconditioning en omwille van de hittegolf was het niet mogelijk om de andere kamers voldoende te koelen, zelfs met de aanwezige .ventilatoren andereaanweziebbeun

Heel erg bedankt Hilde en Herman voor jullie waardering. Jullie zijn een heel aangename familie met charmante kleinkinderen. We zouden jullie graag opnieuw verwelkomen. Het is waar dat we deze zomer te maken hadden met een unieke situatie met een hittegolf van een paar dagen met een temperatuur van 45 graden. Iets wat nog nooit eerder was voorgekomen. Het spijt me dat je dit hebt moeten meemaken. Ik wil u echter met alle respect meedelen dat de huishoudsters - die mij onlangs op de hoogte hebben gebracht - hun verbazing hebben uitgesproken. Ze vertelden me dat u besloten had om alles te sluiten. Meestal kiezen onze klanten voor het tegenovergestelde en geven ze de voorkeur aan de luchtcirculatie door de grote erkers in de woonkamer en de aangrenzende kamers. We hadden erover moeten praten. Nogmaals bedankt en tot volgend jaar, hoop ik.
