Moeraki Station Holiday House is a modern three bedroom house, it sits in an open rural setting, with fantastic views!

The station is a 3200 hectare working farm which has been owned & run by the Cameron family since 1887. The Station is located in the picturesque Hinakura Valley, 1/2 hour drive from Martinborough.

Relax & enjoy the picturesque rural setting from the house & stunning night skies.

Explore the farm. Tracks are suitable for mountain biking & hiking.

We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house. The house was clean and well considered with everything you needed to feel at home. The place is secluded and you have a magnificent view of the rolling hills and mountains all around you. You are woken in the morning by the sheeps and cows which complete your New Zealand experience. We had hoped to do lots of star gazing given that it is within the dark sky reserve unfortunately on the day we were there it was very cloudy. Jane however was still very thoughtful and suggested a large big paddock within the farm that we could go to to ensure ultimate darkness. Thank you, Jane for your hospitality!

Our Easter Vacay

We loved every moment! The house was perfect for our family and very cosy/comfy. The hosts were very welcoming. Highlights for us .. * The fire * The horses * The peace and quiet * The clear night sky * The river * The location ... yes it was an adventure to get there but so worth it !!

Great stay with wonderful host

The stay and the location of the house was beautiful. The pictures cannot capture the true beauty. The host was great , never had any issues in our 4 day stay. Love to be back.

Excellent break in the country

We really enjoyed our stay at Hinakura. The accommodation is excellent and the views from the property are really good. Enjoyed exploring the farm.
