Amazing Cabin/house

This is listed as a cabin but it is a huge house equipped with beautiful views of the Manistee river. The house included multiple congugating/hang out areas along with an upstairs pool table. The backyard was perfect for backyard games right next to the river. I would highly recommend this place and I will certainly utilize it again for another golf trip.

We gathered on the River to celebrate the wedding of my daughter in the area. It was a fantastic location with activities for all ages. Everyone had a fantastic time and the house was exactly what we needed to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Family Getaway

The layout of the house was so cool! There were lots of common areas to hang out but also some tucked away private areas when needing privacy. It was roomie and fit all my siblings and dad. We utilized the grill and the kayaks. There was plenty to do near by as well, we would rent again!

This property is BEAUTIFUL!

This was the perfect size place for our group of friends. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds to accommodate. The house is very nice and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. There is about a 270° view of the river through the house. It is so peaceful inside and out. We wanted to spend all of our time at the picnic table and fire pit staring at the river, we will definitely be back to this house in the future!

Great experience

Great experience for family in wooded area by the river. True cabin/cottage feeling. 15-20 min drive to traverse city downtown. Only thing I will point out is the mobile network gets choppy while using with Google/Apple maps and when couple of miles away from the cabin. Would recommend get directions specifically 2-3 miles to the cabin. Everything else was perfect.

Girls' Winetasting weekend

Overall the stay was awesome! The house was plenty big for our party and very homey. Kitchen could have been stocked with more basic things. A couple of maintenance things were batteries that needed to be replaced in a smoke alarm and shower head leaking due to a missing piece. There was no communication with the property owner even though we had mild concerns. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your home! replaced smoke alarm

Great secluded getaway

If you're looking for a secluded (definitely a little more on the remote side of the spectrum) "up north" getaway that can comfortably accommodate a large group, this is your place! The log home vibes are very fitting of the up north environment and ambiance. When you're checking in, make sure to check your email for a message from the property group. You need to make an account through their portal for your checkin information, you won't get the information messages from them through the VRBO app. This took a me a while to figure out but once I realized this, we didn't have any issues with checkin.

Beautiful property

This place is a beautiful secluded cabin that was perfect for our group! We loved being in the river & being able to gave a bon fire. The only down side was there were no extra trash bags & I was never able to get ahold of anyone from the property. We ended up having to purchase our own. That was minor, but if something major happened, we would have been in big trouble or being able to get in touch with someone! Overall, it was absolutely perfect!!
