The was a wonderful property! The host was very easy to communicate with and was accommodating with an early check-in. We usually stay with family when we visit Buena Vista, but if we brings guest again we will definitely book this place again.

We loved our stay here. It is an adorable place so close to everything yet quiet as if no one was around. The house is very well appropriated for a VRBO. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything labeled which made it so easy. I loved how it was decorated as well. They thought of everything as if they have traveled extensively and used vacation homes a lot to understand how to set one up. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this house 2 years ago also. At that time the upstairs bathtub faucet was leaking. It still is. With shortage of water in Colorado and elsewhere I would think the owners would want to fix this. It is not just a drip. Also, the upstairs fire alarm went off on our first evening there. Luckily we found a step ladder so we could disable the alarm. We looked around for other alarms and found another in the basement. It was on a shelf rather than properly installed on the ceiling mount. This is a safety issue that should be addressed. This house fits our needs quite well and we hope that the owners will address these issues so we can stay there again.

Response from Downtown Buena Vista Cabin w/ Patio & Grill! on 19 Oct 2026
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we are glad the house continues to fit your needs well! We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the temporary faucet leak and smoke detectors. The leak was an isolated issue that occurred right before your arrival and was promptly repaired, while all smoke detectors have since been replaced and securely mounted.
