Beautiful Pukerua Bay holiday home

This was a beautiful property, extremely clean on arrival, fresh flowers, clean towels, fresh bedding. It was just perfect. Easy communication with the manager Kate. We just loved it, lovely beach and rock pools, heaps of interesting wildlife, great walks straight out the front door. Great location.

Lovely home

Our family travelled from Auckland and stayed for 7days. We enjoyed our stay at Kate’s lovely property. It had everything needed and just felt like home, going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was a bliss and so relaxing 😊 Kate Was easy to contact and communicate with, will definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

A little Piece of Heaven on the beach

Kate is great, replies to messages almost immediately. The house is wonderful, clean and neat. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Kids loved the outdoor shower. A glass of wine at sunset, watching the sting rays play in the waves is magical. Will definitely go back - Higley recommended 🌸

Best of both worlds with million dollar views!

This is a place to get away from it all, but still less than one hour from downtown Wellington. Perfect for what we wanted. The two main bedrooms have amazing views to Kapiti Island and beyond, the sound of the ocean is just metres away. Excellent kitchen facilities and entertaining space. We stayed in winter and it was easy to keep warm with either the woodburner or heater. Fast internet. The local walks are amazing. The roads north and south are much quieter now SH1 has moved to Transmission Gully - a big advantage when heading out to shops etc. OK, any downside? The overall cleanliness was good but a few minor things were missed. These were small but the cleaning fee is big so we expected 100%. Easy fix and would not put us off another stay! Note the local swimming beaches are unpatrolled.
