The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction. This apartment is located on the second floor.

The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.

The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking and no pets.

The kitchenettes are perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Extra notes:

The kitchen in unit 208 has an oven/range but does NOT have a dishwasher We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive any time after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive, we are nearby.

The host was very supportive. I messaged to change my booking dates twice and they accommodated my stay at no extra costs. They were very responsive and kind. Great stay overall and we got exactly what we needed. Somewhere to sleep, shower, and cook dinner at a low cost.

Great spot to stay with kids and pets!

This place was close to restaurants, gas stations and attractions. It was clean and gave us more space than a traditional hotel. Check in and out process was very easy! The pullout didn’t have any bedding and dishes were lacking ( 1 bowl and 3 forks)

Nice place

The place was nice. It appeared to be converted hotel into small apartments. The sofa/sleeper was broken. We did have trouble finding the place, but I blame the GPS messing up.

Spacious but dated and dark corner unit

This unit was spacious but dated and dark. The photo looked light and bright. Kitchen was adequate. Beds were small. A smoking policy is needed so it is permissible only away from guests' room doors.
