Welcome to William by the Water!

Our newly-renovated, 3-bedroom, 1 bath cottage, plus brand new bunkie, just steps from the community's gorgeous, private beach is available for rent year round. Sleeps 8.

The cottage offers so many spaces to stretch out and relax, from a huge sunroom with comfy furniture, board games, ping pong table and big screen TV, to a backyard that includes a fire pit, BBQ, outdoor dining, hammock, tree swings and lawn games. The cottage has parking right at the front door, free wifi, a chef's kitchen with brand new appliances, and an outdoor shower, all to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible.

Our gorgeous, sandy beach is the perfect place to spend the day lounging in the sun (beach chairs and sand toys provided!). Just a 2 min stroll from the cottage, the beach has an easy entry, with pebbles out to a fabulous sand bar. It's agreeable for all ages! Swim, play or float around in the cool waters of Lake Huron, walk along the shore or just sit and enjoy one of Ontario's best sunsets.

Just 6 minutes north of Grand Bend's main street, the cottage has quick & easy access to all of the awesome stuff to do in the area. Check out the fantastic restaurants, craft breweries & wineries. Play golf or mini putt with the kids. Catch your dinner on a local fishing charter. Go parasailing for a bird's eye view of the coast. Hike at the Pinery Provincial Park or shop your heart out at the nearby flea market and quaint little shops in Grand Bend and Bayfield.

William by the Water is the summer spot for fun, rest and relaxation. Your family will make some incredible memories here.

Weekly rentals only during the summer months, Saturday to Saturday. Ask us about monthly rentals in the Spring and Fall.

Beautiful large property with so many activities available at the cottage. The proximity to the beach was awesome but the stairs were a bit of a challenge for older folk. The cottage is very clean and very well thought out for maximum enjoyment.

May long weekend

Loved the house and the private beach!!. My only suggestion would be a few pans that would accommodate the 6 person max. (Like a hot plate or skillet for breakfast cooking)

The cottage is a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. It was clean, and comfortable. Nice surprise that the bbq was hooked up to gas so no propane needed. Kyla & Paul were quick to respond and helpful. Can't wait to plan a future weekend at their place!

We're a loving family with 3 beautiful girls who absolutely love the beach, the sun and swimming from sun up to sun down. For years we have enjoyed a family cottage on Lake Huron. In 2022 we purchased this cottage and renovated it, top to bottom. It's our little piece of paradise. We love to travel the world and so have decided to share our home away from home so that other wonderful families can also enjoy a little lake life.

Why they chose this property

We love the neighbourhood. All of the neighbours pitch in to make sure that the community is well-maintained, safe and pretty. And we've added everything to the cottage to make it comfortable and fun for your family (ours too!)

What makes this property unique

The cottage has a gorgeous private, community beach. And it's super close to the amenities of the main drag in Grand Bend but away from the crazy crowds in the summer season.
