Modern Beach Home with Jetted tub, Views of the Bay!

ACE Cabin - Meredith Lodging

This cozy cabin sits just a block from Alsea Bay and is a short walk to a mile of sandy beach and you’ll also enjoy access to the seasonal pool at the Bayshore Beach Club, plus the neighborhood playground and tennis courts. This cabin will keep you cozy with its large couch and flat-screen TV and its beautiful bay view!

This two-bedroom, two-bath home offers two Queen beds in each bedroom, and both queens have new toppers. Two full bathrooms and the master even has a jetted soaking tub. Full-size washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen. Large screen TV with surround sound, and DVD. Views of the Bay and bridge, and a two-block walk to the oceanfront. The wood-burning stove is used only for the TV stand.

Home is also very close to two of our other homes, Twain's and Amanda's. The garage is not available. Charcoal BBQ available - Briquets not included. Now has Wifi! Dogs welcome!

Overall this was a very cute house. The appliances we pretty dated and the stove fan and stove top and oven light were dated and wonkey, not working the best. The kitchen was stocked with all dishes and utensils needed, but make sure you bring any needed cooking sprays, seasonings and coffee with you. The furniture in the livingroom was comfy, but worn and had stains all over it. A good couch cover would be great. The carpet in the bedrooms, especially the master were pretty gross looking, covered in what appeared to be dog urine stains, so that definitely needs to come out as the master has the odor of dog urine as well. A good laminate and rug would be so much cleaner in there. Overall pretty good. No ocean or water views from the windows, just houses, but it is really close to the water and we had a good time. I would stay here again if the couch was replaced or had a clean cover and definitely only if carpet in the rooms was replaced, just made it feel very unclean.

Great little beach house only a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. Fairly private beach accessed only by this small community. The house itself was nice, clean and tidy. It was pet friendly and we took our two dogs. Once there however, it did say no pets on furniture. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking items, but no essentials when it comes to food or condiments. But there are good food accommodations nearby be it groceries or restaurants. Even within range to get delivery from Walmart in Newport. Overall an amazing experience and planning on turning this into a yearly trip and location!

The host was great! There was a minor issue with a fire alarm having a low battery (it chirped until the place came up to temperature), they fixed it almost immediately.

Went to the coast for a quick Mother’s Day weekend trip. House was clean, check in was easy. Was comfortable for a small family of 3. Location is close to waldport and you can walk under the bridge.

Comfort on the coast

We enjoyed a quick getaway with our son who was home from college during Spring Break. The home was clean, cozy and just the getaway we needed. It is a little bit of a joint to the ocean itself but worth the walk. We would definitely stay again.

Down by the bay!

Just steps from the Alsea bay, this house was a perfect fit for our family of 4! We walked to the bridge at low tide and got to explore the base! It was so fun.

Fun time

The place was clean and centrally located. We were there to go crabbing. It was minutes away from the harbor in Waldport. It was a short drive to Newport.

Quaint quiet spot

Overall, it is nice. Lots of windows provide natural light throughout the house. Good place for quiet strolls through the neighborhood.
