Host was very responsive to our needs. Unit was great and it is very conveniently located. I will say this, however. It’s a big property and finding our unit initially was VERY difficult. The signs directing you to room numbers were, at the least, confusing. At one point a sign directed you to room numbers in 3 directions, and none of the directions were correct (all arrows pointed in the wrong direction).It would also be a big benefit to have 2 key fobs upon arrival. Host was responsive to helping us with that, but having only one key fob created issues for us for two days.

Couple stay in scottsdale

Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Nice condo with a nice pool and gym. Could use a new couch in the living room and some patio furniture on the roof but otherwise it was great.

Family Visit

Location for us was great as my daughter and her husband were a short walk away. Place had everything we needed and was quiet. The only issue was the sleeper sofa was not comfortable so my son who is 28, opted to stay elsewhere. It was just for two nights so it wasn’t a big deal

Great Place, Lots to do Nearby!

Check in was really smooth and instructions to pick up the fab and get in to the apartment were clear! My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights, since she was participating in a ballet intensive at a studio just steps down the road. Everything in the unit was comfortable and as described, and you couldn't ask for more shops and restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance. We watched 4th of July fireworks from the roof deck that were spectacular! Nice pool and gym, and we would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for my birthday and I was very disappointed. I spent my actual birthday morning cleaning my things and doing my laundry because there were bed bugs. I immediately took pictures and notified the host, they responded but never sent anyone out to check the facility. They didn’t offer us an alternative unit or accommodation of any kind. I was bitten in my arms chest and back.we left a day early and had to find a new place to stay. I requested a full refund, they refunded 75 for partial one night stay claiming I didn’t check out before 11am and that it was just as a courtesy. They had bed bugs! They are denying that there are any bed bugs in the unit and are refusing a refund. That amount didn’t even cover the nights stay at a different place that we had to move to. We missed my bday reservations and other plans we had not to mention I was so stressed out and paranoid about taking any bugs with me. I am so disappointed in this host and In vrbo for their inability to do anything about this.

We picked this property due to the great location near Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, very walkable.Pros: great kitchen, rooftop deck was fun, comfortable bed, easy check-in and out, nice fitness center, free coffe in the clubroom.Cons: Sofa in living room uncomfortable/poor quality. Shower door leaked. A few loose handles, etc here and there. Some of these would be quick fixes but the sofa needs replacing. Overall a good value given what a hotel room costs in this area.

Quiet Building Close to Kierland Shopping and Dining

The property is exactly as described. Check-in is easy, just follow the detailed instructions. Host is very responsive to all messages. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. The main sofa is ready for an upgrade as it has lost support, but it's not a deal breaker. We enjoyed the rooftop patio and the lovely common areas. The workout room is large and updated with modern equipment. The building is quiet and kept clean as well. The location is ideal with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely rent here again.

Not great.

Overall a lukewarm experience for us. The VRBO is in a nice area. We didn’t get our check-in instructions when they said we’d have them, so we had to reach out to them to get them right as we were arriving. The biggest issue for me was that the front door would not lock from the exterior. We sent texts and a video and a day later(!) Palacio determined the fobs needed to be recalibrated and they asked me if we could take them to the leasing office to do that. Being on vacation, I did not feel that that was right to ask me to do that for them. It was disappointing that the issue was never fixed while we were staying there for two nights, despite repeated texts on my part. It meant that I was hauling my valuables with me everywhere we went because I couldn’t lock the apartment door. Not acceptable. It was mostly clean, but had some animal poop up on the rooftop deck. The bed was super comfy. The couch was awful to sit on (never tried sleeping on the pullout); it’s hard and sloped so that you have to fight to stay on it. The shower door leaks from underneath it and absolutely soaks the rug next to it. A/C worked great and the apartment was always comfortable and cool. The kitchen had everything you’d possibly need if you were staying in and cooking, so that was really nice. Also, it was 105 degrees all weekend and the pool was closed for painting. That really stank as the pool featured heavily in our AZ summer vacation plans; a heads up on the listing would have been nice.

First, we deeply regret that the check-in instructions were delayed and that you had to reach out to us upon arrival. That’s certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We also apologize for the issue with the door lock, and we understand how frustrating that must have been, especially while on vacation. It was never our intention to ask you to go to the leasing office, please note that this has been fixed and confirmed that door lock works normally, just a user error in locking it. As for the rooftop deck, this is a shared amenity in the complex, however feedback has been shared to the complex. Lastly, we understand your disappointment regarding the pool being closed for painting during such hot weather. the pool is not something that we manage and have 0 control in terms of maintenance schedule. We truly appreciate your patience and hope you’ll consider staying with us again, as we would love the opportunity to provide a better experience next time.
