Wake up to the sounds of nature and serene views from every bedroom. Or if you prefer, you'll also find Muskoka chairs at the dock, perfect for quietly sitting and sipping your coffee as you take in the morning views.
This lake is great for swimming, fishing/ice fishing, and other water sports, and we have provided a canoe, 2 kayaks, a paddle board and a large floating water pad for your enjoyment. And because Fourteen Island Lake has no public boat access and only a small amount of cottages lining its shores, the water is crystal clean and clear.
Our lake house offers 1300 sqft. of bright open living space. The kitchen has all basic amenities, as well as a 10ft island for ample workspace, and a farmhouse table that seats 10. There is a reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen for safe drinking water. Enjoy making and sharing your meals while overlooking the lake via the patio slider.
Two of the bedrooms offer a queen bed and the third offers two sets of bunks, all sturdy enough and comfortable for adults.
No need to fear rainy days as we have a variety of books, games, and puzzles, perfect for adults and kids alike. You'll also find a smart television with loads of DVD's and access to Netflix as well as other streaming apps, and a Wii gaming system to keep you entertained.
Starlink Wifi is available to keep you connected.
Air conditioning is not available but a quick dip in the lake and fans in every bedroom will keep you cool and comfortable.

Our third time here, and as always, everything was perfect for our needs. Great communication with the hosts when needed. Property is nice and quiet with great views.
The cottage was exactly what we were looking for! Great place to play card games, cook great meals and make amazing memories! The cottage came well stocked with games to play which was a great bonus! Would recommend! The host was great with communication and responded very quickly to all inquiries.
This place is an absolute gem and the hosts are amazing people. We chose this cottage experience over booking a team hotel room for a baseball tournament and the boys absolutely loved every minute of it.
The property was well equipped clean and modern. The hosts have done an excellent job in designing and building this beautiful property. We had a great time hope to rent this property again.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Its rare that a cottage turns out better than expected! The cottage is beautifully designed, very clean with a quiet lake. You cant ask for more. Thank you Laura for a great experience.
We had an amazing stay for our girls weekend. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Laura was an amazing host, as she went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We hope to do it again sooner than later.

This modern comfortable cottage is on a quiet lake and was very well equipped for our family gathering. Highly recommended.
Nice cottage. Pretty lake. Nice to have acess to canoe and kayaks. Cottage is well kept and updated. I would recommend this place. Neighbors were a bit rowdy and loud. This is not really in the property owners control unfortunately.
Great stay. The property was nice and exactky as listed. The few times I needed to communicate with the hosts, they were quick to respond. I will likely be booking again in the future!
We loved staying at this cozy lakeside cottage. It was easy to access, clean and lots to do in terms of winter activities. This stay was hard to beat, especially when it came to Laura’s hospitality. She was easy to reach and gave detailed information about everything we asked, even great recommendations for local food. We hope to come again soon!
Last minute booking for Labor Day weekend, found this gem of a property. Lakeside, remote, quiet, great for the dogs and us.
Neighbors were generally fine.
Beautiful cottage, open concept that is easy to entertain especially if it’s rainy out. Lake is large and calm, easy to paddle board and kayak. Lake is very clean and clear, can see all the sunfish and turtles off the dock. Close to shopping and quick drive to Kingston if want to do any day trips.

We were in the area for a family reunion weekend. Nice stay. Couldn’t predict the graduation party on Friday night next door. But overall a nice stay. Lovely home.

About the host
Hosted by Laura Wehrle
We are a family of 4 that live in New Hamburg Ontario. Having a cottage has always been a family dream. We wanted a place that we could make lifelong memories with our children Poppy and August, and hopefully one day, their children as well.
Why they chose this property
We found this property in 2021 and fell in love with it immediatly. We have put our heart and soul into building this cottage. My husband Corey designed the cottage to be simple, open and bright with lots of large windows so there is a great lake view from every room. We want this to be a space where everyone can feel comfortable and peaceful.
