I cannot say what an amazing time we had! I own two large dogs and being able to get away and enjoy lake life without any worries was amazing. It was clean great layout of the cottage, amazing look outs and trails even a little medow. Everything was perfect! We will forsure be back, and have already started planning our visit for next year! Thank you so much to Eric as well, he let me bring one of my dogs who is a giant breed! Thank you so much again! Kristen, Sam, Toad and Elvis.

We had a very relaxing stay at 4 acres on the lake. This is a very private property,the cottage (trailer) was well equipped,nice and clean,the beds are fairly firm and comfortable,there is a firepit with some wood to burn for evening campfires,a nice dock with a small sandy beach for fairly decent swimming entry, lots of chairs for relaxing, a few water toys,several walking trails throughout the property, two hammocks, and most important-------QUIET ! Eric is very punctual and easy to communicate with. We will be going back next year.Ken and Pat September / 2026

This was our 3rd time spending a week at 4 Acres on the Lake. It is always a wonderful experience...private and quiet, beautiful scenery, great fishing, and close to town for necessities. The cottage is clean, and cozy space to relax in, with decent wifi and much appreciated air conditioning on those hot days! Eric, the host, is a great guy...when some unforeseen problems came up, he worked with us to make our week happen. Very grateful we were able to get our week, we had an amazing time, and as always, wished we didn't have to leave. Looking forward to another summer there already. :)

Relaxing time with family

This is a nice property to relax and enjoy time outside with the family. Communication with Eric was easy and he always responded quickly. It's a short drive to Sharbot Lake where we spent a lot of time at the beach. Overall, great location and we enjoyed our week there!

We had a great stay at the cottage on lake oconto. The beach and entrance to the lake was great for the kids and we loved that it was dog friendly. Great communication with the owner.

The perfect private escape. There is so much space to enjoy the outdoors, quiet and natural beauty. Love how well-stocked the trailer and property are, we had everything we needed and more. Sharbot Lake had anything we needed: groceries, LCBO, general store, coffee shop. Highly recommend a day trip to Perth, such a nice little town. Looking forward to our sixth trip up next year!

Family trip

We had a great stay with the family and our pup. The kids and dog loved the beach area and water. Lots of fun with the kayaks provided. We wished the fire pit was towards the back of the property so we could still enjoy the water views as well but overall was happy with our stay!

Eric was a great host! Our family of 4 had a wonderful time exploring 4 acres. The property is perfect for families with young kids, the trails and the sandy beach made for hours of fun, plus the kayaks let us explore the lake and watch nature in action. The cottage was the perfect size and had everything you could need. Definitely recommend this idyllic spot! Thanks again Eric!
