The property was perfect for my families needs. We were conservative with power and had no issues. The fire pit, dock and paddle boards were a wonderful addition.
All around, an amazing cottage getaway! The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable escape. We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back!
What a great stay! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful and great size to paddle around - very calm and very little boat traffic :) The fire pit is right at the lake with a couple of hammocks (which our 2 year old daughter was obsessed with :)) no cell service as expected but if you rely on Google Maps to tell you where to go, then remember your turns on the way in lol! Overall would come back and we def recommend to anyone looking for a quiet week or weekend to disconnect.
The cottage was super clean and well stocked. Everything needed for cooking was available, as well as drinking water. The grounds are well kept and organized. The fire pit was lovely. The paddle boards also very useful! We had a great stay over a long weekend.
Had an incredible two-night getaway with my wife! The cottage is very nice and clean with everything you need for an off-grid stay! The lake was very quiet and the floating dock was great for swimming. The standup paddle boards were a lot of fun to use! Westport is a nice little town near by if you need to pick anything up. Highly recommend this cottage rental and would book again in the future!
Nice quiet getaway. Close to Westport for day trips.

What an adorable little cabin. Clean and well stocked. The water was shallow off the dock but we were able to use the paddle boards and kayaks provided to paddle out into the deeper water and do some fishing. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This cabin is highly rated for a reason. Would definately recommend.
House was perfect for me and my new wife and dogs. Very clean, secluded, and quiet. Host was quick to respond with any questions I had which was greatly appreciated. Would absolutely stay again in the future.
We had a great weekend stay here, the hosts were very generous and helpful. They met us to show us around the property so we would know the ins and outs of being off grid. Would definitely stay again!
We had a very successful get away at Bay Stay. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and swim dock. The cottage was very tidy and we had no issues with running out of power. Recommend staying here.
Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need! Was welcomed with a lovley basket of goodies for our stay! Will definitely come back again!
We had a wonderful stay. The boys had a blast fishing, frog hunting and swimming. Lots of great memories. We like it uses solar power and we were cautious when using power.
Exactly as stated! This spot was great for 4 people. Be sure to read the whole listing and reviews. The cabin was SO cute ! The lake was nice as it was a quiet lake, not like the neighbouring Bob’s Lake. Which was amazing for the paddle boards and the kayaks that they provide. AND they left a cute little package when we arrived. Would come back! 10/10
We enjoyed every single detail of this gorgeous cottage! I found it well-stocked; coffee, tea, ice, bottled water, right down to aluminum foil, saran wrap, and spices for cooking! It was immaculate, and cozy. We loved the "off-grid" experience, and exploring the beautiful area. Highly recommend!
A really great place to stay! Check in was easy, kitchen was well equipped for cooking needs! few things just needed to be replenished or fixed such as lighters had no fluid, some fans didn't work, battery candles didn’t work which was no biggie as we were well prepared just in case with being off grid. Not having wifi was a nice way to escape, some of us still had service for GPS. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed the grounds, was a little hot for her with no air conditioning but there was a nice breeze outside for her when laying on deck or exploring!! It was really nice having paddle boards and kayaks on the property!! Fishing was good off of the little island dock on property, nice for fun easy catch and release. Was slightly disappointed that another cottage was right beside us but nobody was there during our stay which was very much appreciated just having the grounds/area to ourselves! overall nice, peaceful and relaxing place. Would recommend for sure!
My girlfriend and I, as well as my dog spent the weekend at the Bay Stay, and even with some rain had an incredible visit. The cabin is very well stocked and prepared, and talk about spotless! We had a small welcoming basket waiting, firewood and tons of watersports equipment to enjoy during the stay. The host was attentive to messages, and the off-grid portion was not a hiccup or challenge whatsoever. The french press made great coffee, and the kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils. And the reviews claiming the "massive and steep hill" are only fractionally accurate, as it is steep but is maybe 50 yards long and not a challenge for the average person. We plan to come back again, do not hesitate to book!!
