Overall it was a nice stay. The host was easy to communicate with and the cabin was clean. Probably should be prepared there is no bathroom door if you’re a shy pooper.I do not feel like the listing was accurate- it lists several times how quiet and peaceful the home is… When compared to the dozens of VRBOs in the area, I would not agree. The pictures on the listing have been cropped to give the appearance the cabin is more private than it is. It is actually in a setup similar to a small campground, and not “private”. Perhaps that is not a deal breaker to everyone and it really is not to us every time. However, for this trip we were really going for a private cabin in the woods vibe and based on the description we thought it was. For us, this was not it.

For our future guests - this guest desired a very remote, isolated cabin and made a mistake in booking ours. Please see the aerial photos and video which provide an honest understanding of the location. It is not remote or isolated as this guest hoped and it is not a campground as this guest stated - it is a property that is very private and peaceful but does have other cabins on adjacent acreage (you’ll see them in the photos). Let us know if you have any questions! Oh - and the bathroom is down a hallway with no sight lines to any other room!

Luxury in the wilderness

My husband and I booked a four-day trip to this lovely cabin and definitely wished we had planned for a longer stay! It was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities right down to measuring spoons for the morning coffee. The views were incredible and the area was so peaceful and quiet, yet a short drive away to basically anything you might want to do or need to buy! This home was everything the description promised and more.
