We were so impressed with the accommodation. Super comfortable space for us and our short stay. Really easy to use the space. We were all really happy with the space. The deck was great and what a huge backyard (didn’t use it but wow!). Easy communication with owners. Would recommend.

Thank you Kate.
Pleasure to have you - you are welcome any time!
We were a group of 3 friends stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the area and the house was fine for a short stay. Easy check in process and quiet neighbourhood. There was a faint fishy smell in the lounge area and the freezer had some spills inside. The shower easily floods the bathroom floors and the dryer was condensating and dripping. We only put 1 bath mat and 1 towel in the dryer and they were still wet after 3 hours. The house would benefit from a deep clean and some general upkeep.
Perfect for the price! We had a great stay over the Christmas period. Great location and beautiful big backyard. The house is a renovated mid century cottage (a few small period details remain) with a huge modern deck out back.Hot tips, there’s no hanging space, door hooks or coat hangers, so BYO, we hung our clothes on purchased coathangers from the picture rail in the Queen bed bedroom which worked great as we had several events we needed ironed clothes for while we were in town. Note, there’s no picture rail in the other bedroom. Some new pegs would be great as the backyard has a hills-hoist in full sun, perfect for drying clothes and towels on our longer stay, but the pegs that were there were old and kept breaking.Bring fluffy socks or slippers for highlands nights and mornings as the floor is quite cold. Also if you are a light sleeper there’s no blackout window coverings in the bedrooms. The vertical blinds let in the morning light. Perhaps a sleep mask is a good idea if you prefer a sleep in.Kitchen was fairly well equiped, plenty of crockery and cutlery, no microwave, but there was a sandwich toaster. There’s also a dearth of lamps so we had to do a bit of lamp musical chairs for late night reads. These are just some very minor things we noticed on our longer stay, all of which could be easily remedied! We would overall recommend this house, a lovely location and a tidy little base for a Southern Highlands stay!
