Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.


Guests between the ages of 18-24 are permitted to book on an exception basis only. In your inquiry please provide your age, reason for booking and who will be staying with you.


Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.


Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.


Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.



Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.


1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.

2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property.  Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.

3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.

4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.

5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.

6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.

7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.

8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests.  If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.

9.) Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only.  Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.

10.) Lost and Found:  We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

The location was on a quiet residential street and a few blocks from shops, restaurants and Wrigley and the L. It's a short Uber to downtown.

Filthy place
Their was hair still in the bath tub I had to get some bathroom cleaner from the store to clean it so I could use the tub. Mold growing on back of tub in caulking. Fireplace was filthy. Everything had a inch of dust on it nothing wiped off. Little bitty flies everywhere couldn’t hardly sleep. Asked if we cd drop our luggage off and put in a closet they sent us clear across town we had to pay to store our luggage. This is the last rental I will book. It’s ridiculous to pay the amount of money I had to pay and to not even have a clean bathroom. I wd have done better with a hotel. I will be contacting the better business bureau if some type of remedy or agreement is not met within 24 hours unfortunately a credit for future stay will not be acceptable since idk if I can trust Vrbo or the clients.

Great stay and close to Wrigley
We stayed for a quick night to attend a concert at Wrigley. It was in very cool area and the street was beautiful. The house was clean and had plenty of room. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere and not have to worry about transportation.

We’ll Stay Again!
I was nervous about booking this property since the only review was a 1-star review. However, it was a last minute trip, and we needed a place to stay, so we were willing to risk it. I’m glad we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was nice, it was pretty clean, and we thought it was good value for the money. We plan to stay again in the future if they’ll have us!

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE Ultimate Lakeview 3bd Duplex 4 Blocks from Wrigley by RedAwning
We found out when trying to enter the property it was “no longer available” and the property management company, Red Awning, had sent an email just 2 hours prior to check in which we did not see until after the fact. We did not even receive the common courtesy of a phone call for an explanation. We actually never received a real explanation, had minimal verbal communication with Red Awning. We were informed the property was this rarely ever happens and it could have been a burst pipe or something on this line leaving the property “uninhabitable” and we searched for other options but there were no other options, sorry for the inconvenience. We will be refunded in 7-10 days, not immediately. I’ve used VRBO many times and have never had an issue. The only difference is I was not dealing with the owners but the property management company so not sure if that was the issue or if it was VRBO but regardless what started out as an awesome weekend quickly took a bad turn. Personally feel they ended up renting the property out for more money and canceled our reservation as there was a lot going on in Chicago for the holiday. Poor business ethics!!! Cannot comment on the cleanliness but had to choose a rating and we chose the property based on the location which is why I gave more stars otherwise steer clear of this property and Red Awning!!
