We had a lovely experience in this home even though upon arrival the water wasn't on. The owner was very responsive and it was quickly resolved. The owner incredibly and generously compensated us for the inconvenience. The upstairs neighbors are helpful and kind. We had a fantastic stay. The layout of the house is a little different than we expected with the online pictures, but the living room area was comfortable and cozy. It is conveniently located to all Cape May has to offer. It is several blocks from the beach, but we were not planning on beach time since it was a March visit. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the owner and the other owners in this unit. If you choose to stay at this home, you will be well taken care of. Thank you, Meg.
We are repeat visitors to this lovely property. We enjoy the Monarch migration in this conveniently located homey Victorian condo each year, and, we are looking forward to returning next year.
Meg was super gracious and accommodating! Her place was in the perfect location- minutes to everything. The girls weekend we needed, can’t wait to visit again!
Very cozy with plenty of space for our group of three! Perfect location where it was just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Will definitely stay here again!
We always enjoy our stay at this wonderful place. A problem with the internet connection on our arrival was swiftly resolved by our gracious host even though it was late in the evening. Its central location puts you in the middle of everything Cape May has to offer. A real winner!
It was a great size, but smelled like a dog had been there even though no pets are allowed. The water in the showers never got hot. Most of the furniture could be cleaned or replaced - especially the couch and bench at the table. But good location too and 2 parking spots were a plus.

Hi Katie! This is disappointing to hear. I have no idea why it would smell like a dog! We absolutely don’t allow pets but I suppose it’s possible and if I had known during your stay I could have investigated or arranged for another cleaning. As far as furniture is concerned I take that seriously and am arranging for a cleaning and/or replacements over the off season as we speak. I’m truly sorry these issues detracted from your stay.
Meg and John were excellent in responding to an issue regarding what I'll call "room readiness". They not only had the issue resolved within 2 hours but they also provided us with a 100 refund for "any inconvenience the issue caused". A pleasant surprise and very appreciated.
We had a wonderful time! Location is fantastic! Walkable to everything! Beautiful Victorian home in heart of Historic Cape May! Will definitely stay here again!!
Spent a quick weekend getaway with good friends. Easy walk to Washington Mall shops & dining, several blocks from the beach. We didn't have to drive at all. The location is perfect for adults. The property itself is absolutely beautiful & we really enjoyed evenings in the enclosed porch. The beds were very comfortable & everything we needed was supplied. The host was easy to reach for check in. We plan to return!
This property is in the best location to walk 2 blocks to the Washington Street Mall and to bike to the beach. We really appreciated the stocked kitchen and bathrooms as they had all we needed. Also the ceiling fans in all the rooms were so nice to have along with the beach tags and the dedicated parking spots. The outdoor showers are really nice too. Such a clean, large property with 3 bathrooms. The owner was very nice as well. They have a beach box with chairs and boogie boards and some sand toys too.
Wonderful property! Has everything you need for a stay in Cape May. Great location with super easy access to all that Cape May has to offer. Very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!
We had such a blast having a girls weekend away! The house was beautiful and comfortable and we were so happy to be staying there. Extremely affordable and close to basically everything, perfect to walk anywhere! Would 100% stay again, and plan to!!

Cape May is a very special place for us. We married at Peter Shields Inn (a must try dining experience during your stay) on Beach Avenue in 2016 so it is our home away from home.
Why they chose this property
We absolutely love the location of our second home on Washington street since it's so close to Cape May's fabulous little shops and restaurants. It is less than a 10 min walk to the gorgeous beach so you really can park your car for the duration of your stay and plan to stroll the the adorable tree lined streets and marvel at the historic Victorian homes. Come stay and fall in love with our beach retreat and Cape May like we did!
What makes this property unique
Location, location, location! Whether you want to dine, shop or lounge at the beach you are steps to it all! Enjoy all Cape May has to offer year all year round.
