Amazing location and hosts

Comfortable little place in a great location. The hosts were very helpful, and suggested some cool areas along the Beartooth Hwy that I wouldn't have checked out otherwise.

Loved this cabin!

This cabin was so cozy! Pat and Cat left us cookies for when we got there (thank you!), which I thought was really nice and they were delicious. The bed was very comfy and we had all we needed for the two nights we stayed there. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect little cabin by a creek

We had an incredibly relaxing vacation. This little cabin by Soda Butte Creek was just what we needed to unwind and relax. We have no complaints, if you enjoy the outdoors this will be paradise for you. A few suggestions for guests: pickup groceries near your airport, there’s not much available in Silver Gate and Cooke City and point your binoculars toward the mountains and enjoy the mountains goats.

Wow the Beauty of the Location!

We had a great stay. The location is amazing. Be aware that the cabin is very small and the bathroom needed some repairs. The toilet is low (difficult for bad knees) and the Wi-Fi is very poor, but we were told that beforehand. Overall, the experience was excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the hosts were helpful, accessible, and friendly. The scenery was beautiful and the cabin and surrounding areas were well-kept. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Yet!

I've stayed at a few properties in the Silvergate/Cooke City area and this property is, by far, the best yet. The owners were on-site and very friendly but also very respectful of my privacy. The property was very clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. It is small - perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Enjoyed the mountain view and being close to Soda Butte Creek. Also, the proximity to the Yellowstone gate was perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Paradise Near Yellowstone

My wife and I stayed in Silver Gate for a week in late September. This was actually our second stay at this property. Despite being unable to access the park through the northeast entrance, we found plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We explored Daisy and Lulu Passes, did a little fishing, and rockhounding, and had a great time. The caretakers, Greta and Richard were wonderful! We swapped stories, and they suggested lots of great outings which we couldn't have enjoyed more. We would totally recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay near the northeast park entrance.

Nice cabin close to Yellowstone

The cabin was very nice for the two of us. We thought it was a little more secluded, but was fine. Unfortunately, the Northeast gate to Yellowstone was closed and that altered most of our plans. But overall , we enjoyed our stay

Lovely cabin by the stream

The Hideaway is a lovely cabin next to a bubbling mountain stream. The cabin is well appointed. The hosts were there to greet us and provide a full orientation to the property and the community. Their welcome and help getting set up were really great. The bed was cozy. The bathroom includes a big soaking or cuddling tub. It is a neat place for a getaway.

Outstanding cabin/hosts/owners

Hosts and owners were super attentive and could not have done better. Cabin was super clean, well organized and set-up. ROCU TV from internet was less than perfect, but everything else was great, including a ready, unending supply of firewood for the fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

Silver Gate Serenity

Beautiful cabin! Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the small creek right off the deck. The property managers met us for a brief orientation and then thoughtfully replenished our firewood every day. The cabin itself is spotless with comfortable bed, functional kitchen, and nice bathroom. .Convenient location to YNP and Beartooth Pass. I had high expectations based on the photos and all the great reviews. This property surpassed those expectations!

Amazing Stay!

This is our second stay at the cabin. Always enjoy the solitude and beautiful setting. Even with the northeast entrance closed we found it still enjoyable. Hiking, driving the Beartooth Highway, and the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway, renting an OHV, day trip to Cody, and relaxing on the deck. We were able to walk into the park and even saw a moose. Great hosts and location. We cannot wait to return.

Awesome little cabin-Just Perfect!

This is an incredibly beautiful spot! We loved every minute of our stay at this little cabin. It was very clean and comfortable-just perfect! John and Kate (owners) were wonderful hosts and went "above and beyond" to make sure our time in the area was special. We want to come back, and would encourage anyone who is hesitating to come to this area because this end of Yellowstone is still closed, due to the flooding, to do so. It is well worth it!

Relaxing Fall Visit

The Hide-A-Way cabin is the perfect place for visiting YNP and especially the Lamar Valley. Cabin met our needs and hosts, George and Julie, were very helpful. The cabin is right on Soda Butte Creek and the fall colors were spectacular.

Hideaway excellence

We had a wonderful experience at the Hideaway. The Mountain View’s were beautiful and to have the River/creek in the back yard was so relaxing. We were able to have a fire every night and the peacefulness of this cabin was fantastic. The cabin was clean, up to date, comfortable and cozy. I would definitely rent it again and recommend it to any couple looking to get away
