Drawbacks:- The hot tub was not working as advertised- Needed some general repairs (toilet seat in 1/2 bath was not attached, GFI in main bath could not be reset- Could not turn the heat on which was needed a couple of days- The decks and outside furniture needed to be cleanedPositive:- Great location- The place was clean inside, and a lot of supplies were available- Beds were super comfortable (especially master)- Ceiling fans were a plus
We had a super nice 2 week vacation at Little Paradise. The owners have thought of everything, at least for us, to provide all the comforts of home for our stay. The management team was extremely responsive to any question or concern. Thank you for a perfect Key West vacation!

It was a pleasure having and we look forward to seeing you in the future. :-)
Perfect for our family. Well furnished kitchen, deck with outside seating & table, new bbq grill. Everything we needed & walking distance to Duvall Street, restaurants, bakeries. A few minor things need some TLC, but nothing that affected our stay. Owner communicated well with us.
Was expecting a tv that was pictured in the master bedroom that wasn’t there. Sadly, roaches appeared in the bathroom cabinet with my things our last night here. Ugh!Comcast was not working well as the volume was barely audible for most of the day but would increase a bit at night, not really enough. The towel rack in the half bath was broken when we arrived and wasn’t fixed during our week long stay. The cottage is beautifully appointed and we enjoyed our stay overall.
Check-in delayed 2 hours for cleaning. Air-conditioner preset @ 74. Refrigerator would not seal.(Used tape) The deck is lacking outside maintenance ( broken hot tub, needs power washing). The last night of our stay another guest was attempting to check-in???? Sadly, poorly managed. needspowewashed)needs p

Issues never resolved
1 Star, would not deal with this dishonest group. The property and location though great as other reviews here accurately mentioned. The problem: The spa/hot tub was dead on arrival. Never worked from the beginning. It is quite old and understandable has a long wait for a mechanical part, at least they said. It has been almost one week since check-out and repeated attempts to request a partial refund for the hot tub not working, have not been obliged. I would not have rented a house without a hot tub. I understand though that things happen. Just that they will not provide even a small refund reflects poorly.

Key West 2022
Location was nice, cottage was nice, could have used screens on some doors and windows. Outside area was disgusting, spent a few hours cleaning chicken and iguana poop off of everything. Hot tub was mildewed and needed a good cleaning. First week was nice and peaceful, second week the neighbors changed and party’s and arguments started between 2 groups, so much for a quiet neighborhood.
We've just finished a three week stay at this classic Old Town "Conch Cottage". Notably, it was, at an earlier time, the home of the distinguished author and Pulitzer Prize winning author Alison Lurie. Our stay was comfortable. The neighbor hood lovely. Visually the bungalow's appearance is authentic early to mid 20th century while its systems and appliances are modern. The landscaping needs attention mainly as a result of leaves from the large banyon trees that are surrounded by the deck.
We loved this cottage! We lived on the beautiful shady deck and enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The house was spotless when we arrived and very comfortable,in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was not an issue, found a non resident spot on the road and didn’t use the car again.
It was a nice stay. FYI the hot tub is NOT as private as the pictures make it seem. It was a great location and the owners/managers were very accomodating.
This was a last minute Key West trip for us to celebrate my retirement. We have been coming to Key West for 30 years and this was a last minute rental. The house is absolutely charming and perfect for a couple or a family with two children. Bonus points for it being so pet friendly. It was a little further off of Duval than we usually rent but the bonus there was the quaintness of the neighborhood and having 5 brothers Coffee right around the corner. Has all the amenities you need. My only suggestion for improvement is to spruce up the outside. All the homes on Stump Lane are lovely and this one could use a little pressure washing or paint and it would be right in line. I would absolutely stay there again. Dasha was incredibly responsive and it was just a perfect trip.

Not all we were looking forward too
The property comes with a few requirements. The guest has to clean the house-toilets, shower, mop floors, strip beds, clear frig, clean outside grill, kitchen before leaving or your deposit is in jeopardy. Having paid a cleaning fee, this is a little much. The manager was cooperative. The house was not setup as we requested, there were no additional sheet sets so we could do it, the hot tub was dirty, main room TV didn’t work correctly, TV in main bedroom had no remotes. Manager sent someone to clean the hot tub and figure out TV. Hot tub drained and refilled but water in system not cleared so dirty again once the tub was turned on. Gave up on that. Exterior not clean, outside seating cushions were not clean. Also can’t set the AC temp lower than 74. Inside of house clean, with everything you need. Location great if you like walking. Rented bikes so didn’t have to move the car. Tough to find parking close to house. Most parking marked residential on the street. Virus measures closed everything we had planned to do down so left day 4 of our 7 day rental.

I am sorry that the Coronavirus interrupted your stay, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. As for the cleaning, we ask that you put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and strip the beds and put them in front of the washer for the house keeper. We don’t ask that it be spotless we ask that it’s not a disaster with food and bottles everywhere or trash left inside. The property has a massive Banyan tree that during this time of year drops lots of leaves, it’s a wonderful tree that provides a lot of shade however there are leaves that fall all year long. The exterior is cleaned and blown off before every stay. The hot tub is drained and cleaned after every stay. I sent someone over as a courtesy because you felt it wasn’t clean enough, while there I had him show you how to work the tv. Tv only has basic channels and has Netflix, Hulu and others with the rorik stick. There is WiFi and you can access your own online accounts to have all the channels you have a subscription to. I did apologize that the bed wasn’t set up to a king, I did request it With the housekeeper and it wasn’t done, for this I do apologize. when you called I myself went over with sheets to set it up and you wanted to do it yourself so I left them for you. I tried to do it for you but you insisted that I just leave the sheets for you to do. If it was an issue you should have let me do it, it wasn’t a problem for me. Parking is street parking there a few places that are not residential and there quite a few at the cross streets. Parking in all of Key West Is an issue our street is quite with only residents so it usually isn’t a problem but I can see where you feel that using bikes is easier than driving a car, most guest enjoy being such a short bike ride to all of the local hot spots.
Ice machine not working
No closets
No live TV. Roko was not set for any live tv
Washing machine needs repair. It’s going to blow up.
( men working on the house next door.
Sawing and hammering all day )
We enjoyed our trip
Please note, this is NOT a 2 bath property- it has one full bath and one powder room. Otherwise a quintessential charming and quaint old town, Key West property. Great outdoor space on a quiet lane, but still very walkable to most of town.

Charming and well located house.
This is an older house with lots of charm and within walking distance of Duval Street and restaurants. It has been well cared for and is very neat and clean.
On the down side...parking. If you are not happy to search for a parking space and then able to walk two or three blocks back to the house, this might be a problem.

House very cozy with alll the comforts of home . The big tree in the yard provided nice coffee mornings and late afternoon breezes . Beds slept well. Don’t expect much on the tv. Close to a few good restaurants,.. try Blossoms for a good breakfast or lunch . A few blocks from Duval street and about a mile to the beach. Nice somewhat quite area.
