Stuga was a great find for our extended family. The house was recently renovated and in addition to high-end finishes, everything had been updated, so the place felt clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. There was a heat wave so AC would have been nice, but not usually necessary in VT! Thanks for all the fans, combined with the many windows open it stayed comfortable. And thanks for the swimming hole recommendation - was very refreshing on the hottest day! The view from the back windows and deck was spectacular. Would have liked to have a grill outside to fully enjoy it. We loved being able to have our granddog with us! Thanks for a lovely time!

Great house! Very close to Sugarbush. Equipped with everything you could need. Loved the wood burning fireplace (esp bc it was 0 degrees out and we were cozy!) and ping pong table. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect place for 2 families to stay. House was very clean and well-equipped. Very convenient location for skiing at Sugarbush and dining at nearby restaurants. So appreciated the opportunity to bring our old Golden Retriever “Maple” with us. Hope to come back some day.

Amazing space!

My family and I stayed here for a family wedding and were very happy with our stay. It is a huge property with a lot of space for a large group to stay together but still be able to spread out.

A Vermont Family Ski Trip

This was a great house to stay in. Extremely comfortable and spacious. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Kitchen was excellent and easy to cook in.

Ski Stuga was absolutely lovely, spacious yet cozy, and well stocked with any amenity needed for cooking and a relaxing stay. Also lovely views and my wife even mentioned how lovely it must be in the summer months..

This home is just perfect for a group of friends or family to have a winter getaway. We were two sets of grandparents, three grandkids, and two couples, and we fit just right around the big dining table. Gorgeous view of the mountains out the back windows. Easy drive to the mountain. We also really enjoyed the little village of Waitsfield. Local merchants are all a pleasure to talk to!

Fantastic Property!

We loved this cozy home and it was a perfect place for families. The basement allowed a spot for children to play ping pong and hang out while the parents got to relax upstairs. We'd love to come back!

We stayed for a wonderful week in August, 2026. Our son got married at Mad River Barn and we needed a place nearby. The location was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful, spacious, well laid out, clean, comfortable and bright. The beds and furniture were quite comfy. There was plenty of sleeping space and seating inside and out for all 10 of us. The huge, modern kitchen was unbelievably stocked with dishware, cookware and more. The bathrooms were clean and big. It was so nice to have so many available options for tubs and showers. The grounds in front and back were beautifully alive with wildflowers and plantings. The patio, cornhole game and firepit were a nice addition. Our small dog didn't even get eaten by a bear. Also, there were dozens of games available for all ages. Communication with the house mgmt team was flawless and efficient. We will stay again at this great home, and we highly recommend it for large families, friends and multiple smaller groups. PS, our son and daughter in law had the very best wedding ever! And, tgere are multiple good hikes, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, shops and farm stands close by.

Cozy and spacious Mountain View house for our stay. We had such a great time there. The house was clean and had all essentials we needed for the duration of our stay. The shower water pressure was excellent, and location is within 10-min driven to either sugarbush or mad river glen ski resorts. Perfect for the group winter ski trips. One minor thing that bothered those of us was that we heard water dropping sound throughout the nights on both first and second floors. The sound was noticable somewhat and woke up light sleepers. Other than the dripping sound, we really enjoyed our stay at the house overall.
