We really enjoyed our stay: the house was charming, with a very well-stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner was very quick and easy. It is conveniently close to many attractions and we took advantage of skiing, snowshoeing and visiting a couple of local breweries and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
The ski house was fantastic and within 7 minutes driving to Sugarbush! It was a great experience and lots of room for my family to spread out in. The couch was one of the most comfortable. Would highly recommend and will visit again!
Our stay was wonderful!!!Everything we needed to know about the house and the area was communicated to us ahead of time. The instructions for check-in and checkout were clear and easy to follow. The home was comfortable, clean, with good amenities. The host was in touch and quick to respond as well. There were two families on our trip and everyone loved our stay.
The home was clean and lovely! Kitchen is well-equipped as are the bathrooms with tp and towels and soap and shampoo. Paul was a wonderful and attentive host. We would definitely stay here again !
The only reason for not a 5 star was the water was terrible. Needs a much better filter. Would have been nice to be given a heads up before.

Hello Andy. Our water filter is whole house and we also have a reverse osmosis system in the fridge. We test our well water (this is rural Vermont!) regularly for our own purposes and that of the guests and it is extremely good quality. It does tend to be on the harder side. We sent messages to see how your stay was going and never received any responses. Next time, please let us know if there is any way we can be more helpful during your stay.
Paul's home was perfect for our large, extended family! We were in town for a family wedding and everyone enjoyed the house, the porch, the kitchen and large living room. The views were amazing! Having a bathroom on each of the three levels was so convenient.

Thank you Maureen! We were so glad you enjoyed our piece of paradise in the Mad River Valley!
Check in and check out were very smooth. House is very nice and comfortable and lots of little details were thoughtful. Beds, kitchen and living room were lovely. Location close to everything in the Valley. The water has a strong sulfur smell when showering/using sinks so be sure you don’t mind that.

Thanks for your review Mora! When the water has not been running for some time in the summer drought, there can be a slight sulphur smell. Our osmosis filter in the fridge takes care of all the drinking water.
We enjoyed this house nestled among the trees yet just off the main road to Warren and perfectly located between Sugarbush and MRG. We were able to create family dinners and although spartan in the way of furniture, still cozy and comfortable. Master bedroom is very nice, main floor bedroom also. Beds comfortable. Downstairs bedrooms are colder than the rest of the house.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this fantastic house in Warren. The house is perfectly appointed and has brand new appliances. The gas fireplace and comfy couch in the living room provided a great atmosphere for cozy evenings after days on the slopes. The house is minutes away from the Warren Store (great fresh pastries for breakfast and amazing lunch sandwiches), and the Pitcher Inn, as well as the Sugarbush resort, and everything else the Mad River Valley has to offer. The host was responsive and helpful. This is a great spot for your visit to VT!
