The lodge was perfect for our weeklong family get-together over the 4th of July holiday. A child gate we brought for the toddlers kept the main floor safe for their roaming. Minor maintenance issues were quickly handled or were not consequential for our stay. The view of the lake is as special as advertised and one side of the house faces uninterrupted forest (with a pleasant local hiking trail). The deck-patio was safe for the children and dogs and we ate many of our meals at the outside patio table. It's set for 18 (as is the inside dining table) and, with the awning, protected from the sun. Overall, it was a wonderful week for our family.

Great views, great for a big party. Lots of towels for showering and hot tubbing. Kitchen has plenty of plates, silverware, cups, and pots and pans. Lots of communication prior to check in. After checkin, communication stopped: One oven was broken, couldn’t find the key to the beach access, one of the dryers didn’t work.

Living room couches are not connected, they move apart when sitting on them. Pillows on the dining bench were unsafe for kids. Musty smell in the main area when entering home.

This was our 3rd time returning to the property and as always, were very pleased with our entire stay. We also really liked the upgrades since our last stay (the giant family couch with recliners were so comfy!). The cabin was an excellent choice for our large family gathering. Hard to find a place with this many bedrooms, all of which were clean and ready. The huge dining table was great to be able to have the whole family sit together. The view from the hot tub is incredible. We also used the beach access which has a great park for the kids. It appears that most of the bathrooms have recently been updated and there's ongoing work to update other parts of the property. Mike was easy to get a hold of for the minor issues that did arise.

Great Family Reunion

Our family of 16 really enjoyed the location of this house. Close enough to many activities as well as a nice hike right out the door. The views of the lake were amazing, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee. Deck was perfect to host dinners each night. The room accommodations fit our family perfect. Our kids and grandkids loved each of the activities we had made available, such as tram to High Camp of Olympic Village, boat to Emerald Bay, rafting, zip-lining, and Donner Lake for kayaking and swimming.
