Completely self contained private guest one bedroom plus pull out twin bed.This space has exactly what a couple /couple with child or single person would need for a comfortable stay close to everything. Harbour view right across the road and a 10 min walk to the ferry. This spot is ideal for accessing Halifax in a 2 min drive or being able to walk and ferry to everything downtown has to offer from sporting events, fine to historic Nova Scotia and whale watching adventures. You a short walk to it all

Everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway was provided. While a little smaller than the pictures suggested, the apartment was very comfortable. The bathroom was wonderful, with two sinks and tons of hot water, lots of towels and a super shower!

We were disappointed that the property did not match our expectations based on the listing. The photos made the space appear larger than it actually was, and we were not aware from the description that the accommodation was a basement suite. We were also surprised by the location on Windmill Road, as it is a very busy main road, which contributed to more traffic noise than expected.Because the unit is located below another living space, we could frequently hear people walking around upstairs, which was noticeable during our stay.The backyard appeared unkempt, and we did not feel comfortable using the outdoor furniture.On a positive note, the bathroom was nice, and having access to a washer and dryer was a welcome convenience during our stay.
