Sadly our Air b and b was absolutely musty and damp! I understand Nova Scotia weather but everything was soaked. There were no paper towels or extra garbage bags. Our dishes were dirty and the scrubbie in the sink looks as of I had been there for a year. Those things collect bacteria. The host were very friendly but we feel completely ripped off.

Beautiful backyard with amazing view of a small lakeThough the place is very spacious, there is no BBQ or stove oven to cook a meal.The upper part of the fridge freezes your food (and I’m not talking about the freezer) so be careful of how you place your food in the fridge.This is a basement property that needs a bit of love, though enjoyed our stay nevertheless

Can’t say enough good about our stay! They went out of their way to make this weekend special for me as I’m a bride to be and booked this stay during my wedding dress shopping trip! My mom also forgot an item and the host was so wonderful about getting it back to us! The stay has GREAT views and the host is SO responsive 10/10!

The downstairs was quite tidy and unique. The host was considerate and quick to reply. I wish there had been a sign on which door was the one to access the place, and I also wish the price for the sauna was included in the ad. The bathroom is nice. The beds are incredibly comfortable.

1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time .

Great birthday weekend

We went down with family to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Great location. Beautiful lakeside property. Lots of room and seating. Hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We had a fantastic time and the kids loved the big yard to play in. It is a basement location so was a bit damp in the summer, which is expected with a basement but they had a dehumidifier running in one of the rooms.

This is a nice big unit in a lovely area with a nearby walking trail around the lake. However, guests should be aware there are quite a few stairs to get into the unit and they have no railing. If you're carrying luggage up and down the stairs, it can be dangerous.
