Great price in a quiet safe neighborhood close to Halifax. It is a family home so you will hear the sounds of a family getting ready for school starting around 7am. Areas out of direct sight were not cleaned but main areas were okay. Dishes could have been cleaner, or dish soap provided. Overall fine accommodation for a price much better than halifax hotels.

The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again.

Location

Everything was good as far as the unit. -location is far out in a developing subdivision -TV doesn’t work for sone reason (can’t control it unless you download an app) -First night you could hear toddlers stomping (not running) stomping above making it not so relaxing as we planned. -when we got in the unit, we noticed a hairline crack in the sink & the seat of toilet was unstable. I told the host who was going to get that looked after. Water instead of soap in the dispenser -no face cloths -coffee maker with no coffee (bring your own I guess) Otherwise all went well.

Was not overly impressed. A lot of stomping around above us from their kids and parents yelling at them early in the morning waking us up. Poor communication all around, definitely got the vibe we were not welcome and they didn’t want anything to do with us. This was mainly around us struggling to find the place, and then around the washing service, with hours between each message to see if we could actually get it done (as opposed to finding an alternative method). It’s not conveniently placed in Halifax unless you have a car. But the place was clean, the Netflix/tv was a welcome addition and it was cozy and comfortable

We had a lovely stay. It’s not too far away from amenities which was nice. It was a cozy quiet neighbourhood, however sometimes parking was limited. The room itself was pretty comfortable and tidy. The bathroom came with soaps and had lots of towels, plus the kitchen had utensils/dish ware available. Only issue is we only had one roll of toilet paper, and there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker. The host was super friendly and didn’t take long to respond. If we were ever in the area again in the future, we would totally choose to stay at this location again!
