Close to everything we wanted to do

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the house was generally clean and comfortable. One toilet needed cleaning from not having been used recently (and there weren’t supplies to clean it ourselves) and the whole house could use some deep cleaning of built up dust (under/behind things, baseboards etc) and the exterior windows which had bug/debris build up. We had a maintenance issue with a bathroom doorknob that was sticking. After someone getting stuck in the bathroom, we notified the rental company of the concern asking for it to be addressed that day. They said they would. It was not addressed that day and I sent a follow up text the next day and it was addressed then. However, the fix was to stop the door from latching at all. If there’s a door that needs to work inside the house, it’s that one! I was disappointed in the fix, but more disappointed that we did not receive communication of the delay in getting it fixed. Beds were comfortable enough. The large dining room table was great for playing games and we found a fun new game that the home owners provided. The kitchen has a lot of counter space and was appointed with everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet.

Perfect Spot!

Felt like a true getaway! Peaceful location and still close to the action. Spent time in Leland, Northport, Sutton’s Bay, L. Michigan beaches, and cycling. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything one would need. Better than expected!

cabin in the woods

We were two senior couples looking for an ideal place to tour Leelanau peninsula. Our cabin in the woods was the place. It was an ideal location, somewhat secluded but accessible to both coasts. It was very neat and was well stocked with all the necessities.

Better than the photos!

We had a great stay and the property was even cleaner than we expected we were very pleasantly surprised since we had two babies under one who played on the floor. The property is soooo close to sooo much, we loved being able to get to both Leland and harbor springs quickly and easily. I will note that this property is run by a larger cabin rental company so they don’t seem to answer Vrbo messages but if you call them directly with questions they are super kind and helpful! 10/10 would recommend!!

Girls Weekend

The house was better than the pictures. It had everything we needed! We were a group of 5 girls on a wine tour aged 22-62. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would change is not leaving my white Stanley cup on the counter at checkout. There are lots of games and books for someone hanging around the house.

Weekend Family Wedding Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a long weekend with our four adult children as we were attending a family wedding. The house was larger than we envisioned. Plenty of room inside and out for us to enjoy some downtime after wedding festivities. The house is not air conditioned, but northern Michigan breezes And the shade trees made it very tolerable.

Check-in was effortless. The house was in a very tranquil setting, in a quiet wooded area. It was spotless. My only suggestion for improvement is that the living room area is very dark (the wooded area keeps the sun out) with no overhead lighting, and there are not enough lamps in the room to use the table for meals or cards. If you like to make eggs for breakfast, bring a frying pan because I couldn't find one and used a stock pot. Otherwise, the cabinets had plenty of plates, cups, pots, and baking dishes. The house is in a good location to visit all the local sites.
