We had a lovely stay over Kings Birthday, the house was very clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy a break away with our teenagers. A good boat launching ramp is just down the road. We would definitely rent again and recommend to others.

Duncans Bay is a beautiful little spot to stay for a week, quaint little Kiwi batch, but not suitable for young children in the loft.

What a spot

We stayed at Chris’s place in the April school holidays 2025. It is a perfect place for a family 4. Plenty of parking for the boat and a filleting table for sorting out the catch. The house has a great fire which heats the place in 5 minutes. The selection of kids books, DVDs and games entertained us for hours. Highly recommend staying here.. it’s a great spot

Beautiful and well-kept property, in an even more beautiful location.

Amazing place to gather for friends and family who have not seen each other for years. While busy the days leading up to our stay and unable to communicate back, Chris kept us updated on the stay right up till, we arrived. The house was well kept and plenty of room for us all. Everything you would need for a home away from home, strongly recommend. Thank you, Chris. God Bless.

Duncan bay getaway

Nice tidy property with a lovely view. Room set up not quite what expected with a ladder up to a loft bed. Would need warning if bringing very little kids. Few nails in deck need a hammer in. Also no compost bin in garden. Kitchen well stocked with gear for cooking.
