Nelba Cottage Buckajo ~ spectacular rural views near Bega!

Nelba Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Set on a hobby farm in Buckajo near Bega, 120 acres of rolling hills are yours to enjoy. Nelba Cottage is surrounded by breathtaking rural views to Mumbulla Mountain and Bega township. The cottage is separate to the main residence with private access and has been built in keeping with the main weatherboard farm house which dates back to the late 1800's.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 with an ensuite almost as big as the bedroom with queen bed. All linen, towels & luxury toiletries are supplied, there's nothing to do but make yourself at home and unwind! The gourmet country kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, oven, full size dishwasher, bar fridge, tea and coffee provisions & some essential condiments are also supplied. For the cooks, there are plenty of pots, pans, trays & utensils, even a flatbed sandwich maker & electric wok! Lounge and dining seats 2 with reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep the temperature just right with wall mounted TV & a small selection of board games. In the large carport you will find a washing machine, full size fridge & freezer and foldable clothes line are provided for guest use. A firepit is available year round with provisions of kindling, firewood & tools.

Nelba Cottage is located just up the hill from the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre and only 3.5 kilometres to the country township of Bega.

Weekend getaway

My partner and I just needed a short getaway just the 2 of us and this beautiful little cottage was just what we needed. The views were beautiful, and the amenities were clean and well presented.

Cottage with a view

This light filled cottage is a bit of a tardis, being much bigger on the inside than it looks. There is a wonderful view, is very quiet and the cute dogs made us smile. It is a bit out of town for coffee shop addicts but worth it for the peace.
