Great location, clean and totally supplied

Excellent location and definitely get the parking pass for the vehicle. Everything was terrific except the bed. Not able to move without making my husband move or him me, felt like a waterbed! Plus big hole in the center of mattress was sucking us in and let’s just say not maybe one hour of sleep. Owner/property manager was great at communicating.

Just fine for 1-2 people to stay in. The bedroom is small and there isn’t any room for a dresser, so nowhere to unpack clothes. The living area is comfortable with a nice view. The area around the condo is loud, however, on the weekends late into the night and you can hear it in the bedroom. Otherwise, it was in a walkable area and close to many places to eat. Very clean, but you have to do half the cleaning before you leave.

Well the place is beautiful. The check in process is way, way too complicated. So many emails and open this link and open that link. Get there and have to unload then go all the way up to the room to get a parking pass to have go to the fifth floor of a parking garage. Then have to take your own trash out. Honestly, just a regular hotel is so much more convenient.

Not bad but not great

The look on the door is very frustrating. We tried to follow instructions but it was very finicky. The proximity to the Ironman race and restaurants was fanstastic. The kitchen is very small if you plan on cooking in it. The place needs some minor TLC that would go a long way.

This condo is directly across from the USS North Carolina battleship and the view from the balcony is wonderful. It is very conveniently located in downtown Wilmington. There is a wide array of great dining options, all walkable, a beautiful waterfront, easy access to parking and awesome communication from the owner. My stay was on Friday night and there was a considerable amount of noise (sirens, noisy neighbors and people yelling on the streets) that I did not expect. I would like to see the front door better secured (the traditional handle and lock do nothing so the door seems flimsy when closed (can still see daylight through a closed door).

We liked everything about the property, the area, food, shops were all great. The condo was cute and mostly clean. The problem stared when we tried to pull the couch bed out. It literally fell apart and was bent in the middle of a bar. there was rust on the bed bar so this could not have just happened. We had to take mattress off and sleep on floor.I would stay again if couch were fixed,

the check in is quite complicated. I booked this more than 2 months before the check in, at first they give me with a link which does not link. Then when when it was about 3 days, they were asking for our IDs, they gave us this litany of text messengers with all the instructions… we are driving, we have to catch up with our itineraries. If you just gave me the instruction ahead of time i should have memorized the code, by heart, delayed us. Then at the day of the check out you gave us this instruction. man we are already out. FYI the parking is 2-3 blocks away. The only saving grace are the mattress and the view. in the future i will see to it that i will be booking a hotel.

The ol room switchamagoo

We were given a completely different room than we had booked, so in good fait to the review process I cannot give this property anything but poor marks. Having been a super host for more than 3 years on another booking agency, I know the tricks people/businesses use to meet maximum occupancy. The ol switch rooms is one and believe this was the case. I was given the reasoning that both groups booked at the same time, which I find suspect and to not have any communication for the room switch is also not great business practice.

Great location & beautiful view but kitchen had a strong odor of old food, couch was filthy, a dirty hand towel was on the floor of the balcony & bathroom towels had an old musty smell. Shower doors were very leaky (water all over the floor) the fan in the living room/kitchen didn't work & TV in bedroom also wasn't working. They did communicate well, overly so if anything except with charges - we booked at a specific price & then a week or 2 later, but before the stay, I was charged an additional $50 cleaning fee (extra annoying for how dirty some aspects of the place were). I would have just booked at a regular hotel for that price, which would have been much less complicated getting in/out of the space. The parking is 3 blocks away, not 1 & you have to return the parking pass to the room, which is a pain. A drop box in a mail slot would make much more sense.

Nice location with close access to downtown willmington. Nice view of Battleship from balcony. Instructions for entry and rules were excessive. Many emails and text messages to go through. Lots of scrolling to find entry codes for multiple doors. Parking was included but not at the property event thought it seemed that way from the description. So 15min unloading time or else get towed and then drive to parking garage which was confusing and stressful because of how busy downtown is in the evening. There was no dishwasher, and virtually no place to wash and dry dishes other than on the stove. Overall it was an okay stay but not very relaxing due to complexity of entry and parking. Wouldn’t go there again. Also downtown Willmington is a bit crazy on a Friday night, unless you want to be in the thick of things as far as drunk and loud is concerned this is not a fun place. Sunday morning on the other hand was very pleasant to be there.

Great location but the mgmt company rude, unwilling to address valid health concerns, and overall jerks. Parking was in a garage two blocks from property! Because I have bad knees, ended up paying for street parking so didn’t use the parking pass for the garage. I forgot to leave the pass and despite my offer of overnighting it was charged $150. There were several issues with unit itself that were ignored when I brought these to attention of Gene, my contact at mgmt company. Also several health/COVID protocol violations—including a used glove under sink in bathroom, used cleaning rags in washing machine closet, a used toilet bowl brush by toilet and a vacuum cleaner plugged in next to top of bed. The only thing this company cares about was charging me $150 for the useless parking pass. Very disappointing experience to what could have been a lovely place to stay.

Overbilled and trouble entering

The process for unlocking the door late in the evening was ridiculous and it locked us out. There was no workable phone number on the receipt for us to call. After searching online found a number and called. We were let in remotely. Got billed $183 over the Hotels.com receipt but after talking with them they only plan to give me a refund of $113. Their charges did not match Hotels.com receipt.

Parking was further than anticipated, the room key pad was confusing and locked us out immediately and we had to use the key on the table, luckily security was able to unlock our door for us so we could get ready and make it to our event on time. There was some damage to the bathroom cabinet towards the bottom when we arrived and stains on the bedroom carpet, clean other than that. Beautiful views, felt very secure, and in walking distance from everything we needed.
