Hosts Lee and Tricia could not have been more gracious, accommodating and friendly. They responded to pre-visit messages usually within minutes. The evening of our arrival, after a 12-hour drive, we entered the guest house to find a refrigerator stocked with food to last us well beyond our first night's needs, much to our delight. That was exceptionally thoughtful and considerate by Lee and Tricia.
Tricia provided us with full operating instructions of the house, and was readily available to answer subsequent questions. At least one of the hosts checked in with us daily to ensure that everything in our stay was going smoothly.
Besides stocking the refrigerator before our visit, Lee and Tricia also provided me with an office away from the office, printing documents for me several times when needed so that I did not have to venture out to a FedEx Office or UPS Store. It was far from a small gesture, as it saved me time and, more importantly, having to risk another trip out in public during the coronavirus.
For our family, the grounds were camp-like: an inviting pool, plenty of open grounds to wander around, and a beautiful neighborhood with a nearby winery and horse stables. A Walgreen's was a 5-minute walk from the property. The nearby Los Ranchos retail promenade (4th Street north of Osuna) had numerous appealing local shops. A must-visit is the Los Ranchos Bakery, for delicious pastries, coffee, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The bakers were in open view in the back of the store, toiling away. At a minimum, I got a cappuccino or mocha from there everyday.
We've previously stayed at most of the top hotels in Albuquerque. They're nice for what they are. But for a memorable, low-key stay with a heap of New Mexico hospitality, Adobe Garden is tops. We will be repeat customers many more times! We greatly appreciate Lee and Tricia's kindness and hospitality.
