We had a wonderful stay at Casa Doria & couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Rome. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe & right at home. The neighborhood is great, with shops like Bershka, beautiful jewelry & leather stores, & plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. The spots next door & directly across the street were especially amazing. We even enjoyed spending time with the neighbors’ cats, which added such a fun & charming touch to our stay.Daniela was an incredibly gracious hostess. We had a couple small issues with the gate & door at first, but she quickly & calmly explained everything & made it easy.Quick tip: the shower has a trick. Turn on the bidet & sink & the water warms up perfectly. The apartment is well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen, a very comfortable bed, & extra blankets if needed. The area felt extremely safe, even coming home late at night.Getting around was easy using FREE NOW, with plenty of options. There’s also a great food market about half a block away & a farmers market across the street with flowers & food. And you must go to LOVE Café, the best coffee & pastries we had in Rome.We would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend it! Thank you so much Daniela!! We loved every second there, it was the perfect mom/daughter get away!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment! It was a great location near Via del Corso! I would highly recommend staying here, next time you are in Rome, Italy! 🇮🇹❤️
Ciao,

We had a blast in Rome, the apartment is located close to the metro which is really handy. The restaurant, Fabricia, next door is a great vibe and nice place to eat. Daniela is a fantastic host and very helpful
The apartment is in a great location near the metro. It was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches like candies, postcards and a chalkboard that made it more special. Our host was extra helpful and communication was top rate.

Thanks Jonas! I am so happy you had a wonderful time at my place and in my city!
This quaint apartment located directly across the street from an amazing market is the ideal spot for solo travelers and couples wanting to be immersed in Italian culture. It would be really great for a longer stays because you have access to fresh groceries and a kitchen. You are located within walking distance of many attractions but far enough away that you feel like a local. The hostess, Daniela, was quick, friendly and efficient.
Clean, comfortable and quiet place near the Vatican
Great host and nice place. It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Close to the Vatican and public transport. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The host allowed us to leave the luggage before the check in, so we saved the time and money to store it somewhere else, That was really nice! We loved the fact they really take cleanliness seriously. It was a great experience.
Daniela's place is amazing. It is in the perfect spot, close to public transport (bus stops just meters away), including the Cipro metro station which is just a 10 minute walk. There are many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood which are open late, there is a grocery store practically next door, and the amazing Mercato Trionfale is right across the street.
Daniela was very communicative, attentive, and easy to get in touch with for any reason.
The apartment is well-furnished, very comfortable, and is equipped with everything for a perfect stay (pots, pans, towels, soap, shampoo, comfy pillows, etc....). I stayed for 5 weeks for work, and it was perfect for me. Highly recommend!
Host Daniela was responsive. Upon early check in, apt was freezing. We were wearing our warmest clothes. We closed all the open windows. This is a bottom floor basement apartment. The bathroom has a very sloped short roof.Daniela had to send a code to the heater to turn it on. It is located about a half a mile from the wall of the Vatican. It was a steep climb. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and we had to learn about the 4 different bins for garbage which we deposited on the street outside of the apartment. There were multiple nice restaurants. There was a great grocery store. There was a pharmacy across the road also. Daniela was great in that she helped us when we left our phone in a cab. It got returned. To be fair, I must mention this negative. Host did not seem to believe us that there was no hot water in the shower. She suggested we turn on the water to the bidet first. This didn’t work consistently and it was either boiling hot or freezing cold. We could not consistently rely on having a shower that was a moderate temperature. Host insisted that the boiler had been checked prior to us.She finally came after many days to discover for herself that what we had been telling her was correct she said to just put the water on in the different faucets in the bathroom, so that’s what we ended up doing. Upon our departure, we were given a list of chores, not to mention apartment fees, which came out to 108 for two people for nine days. Surprise!!
