Silliest block of BEST street in the Arr.!!!

Don't be distracted by the sex shop next door. This cute flat is perfectly located for anything and everything you want to see in Paris. And much of it walkable from the front door. Wonderful little cafes and shops nearby. Convenient to a major Metro stop. VERY responsive and helpful host. For Paris, it's a 6 star!!

Overall nice place to stay. 3 bedrooms are small but private with one having en suite full bathroom. Has the basics you need for a comfortable stay. No central AC but has portable unit which was difficult given this meant the windows needed to be open and it’s a fairly loud part of town. The location was great in that it was fairly walkable to the Louvre, Pompideau, Notre Dame. Would definitely consider staying here again with a large group.

Perfect Parisian apartment!

My husband and I rented this apartment for a trip with two other couples and it was perfect! The owners were amazing - offering detailed instructions on the property and check-in process, responding to questions quickly and providing a ton of information about the neighborhood! It was super clean and beautifully decorated. We were able to walk almost everywhere in Paris and the neighborhood was vibrant and interesting. We would definitely rent this apartment again should we ever return to Paris!

Wonderful Stay in Paris - Highly Recommend!

We recently stayed at this apartment in Paris and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The owner was incredibly attentive, answering any questions we had within minutes, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. The apartment itself was very cute and spacious, comfortably accommodating all six of us. It was the perfect home base for our first time in Paris. The location couldn't have been better. The street where the apartment is situated had everything we needed—restaurants, bars, shops, and street vendors. It was vibrant and lively, adding to our overall experience. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Paris. It truly made our trip memorable.

Hip Hideout in the Heart of Paris

The convenience of this location cannot be overstated. Paris’ hipster street scene comes alive the moment you leave the building and you’re just steps away from Châtelet–Les Halles. The Merveil Team made check- in and check-out a quick and easy process. And the apartment itself is spacious. We enjoyed watching the activity on the street from our living room windows. And the black out curtains made it easy to contend with our jet lag. Two spacious bathrooms meant no wait time for the shower (and with 3 generations of women staying here, that’s quite the feat!). Merci, Merveil!

Perfect location!

Located within a short distance of several Metro stations this lovely apartment in Paris was perfect for our week’s stay. The apartment was stocked with all the necessities and the management team was fast to respond on how to check in and work the clothes washer (which was a bit different in how it worked compared to American brands). One word of advice: I would not eat at the restaurants along Rue Saint-Denis. They are a bit pricey and the food isn’t as good. If you go several blocks from this then you’d prospects are much better. Better yet take the Metro to Montparnasse. The eateries here are excellent! Thanks Merveil Team for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Paris pied-a-terre for family or friends

This apartment was the perfect Parisian home base for our group of family and friends (parents, grandma, kids 10 & 15, and aunt). The pre-arrival information and video made finding and accessing the apartment very easy. The apartment is up one flight of wooden stairs. You enter into a hallway, with a bedroom door on your right. The hallway opens onto the kitchenette and living room, which has two couches with pull-out beds. The front bedroom (overlooking the street) has sliding glass doors opening onto the living room (with curtains). The back bedroom has a window and an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The mattresses are firm.

Great location!

This property is in a prime spot to go to all of the things you want to. It is a quick walk to cathedrals, Louvre, and other sites. It is in a good area for tons of restaurants and shops. The apartment has a good lay out and has the basic amenities. The communications and check in was good. The only thing that was not great was the entry way and stairs were not good. It is old and hard to get bags up. The stairs are very narrow and winding. The airconditioning is not central air. There was a portable unit on the floor with a pipe out the window so you can not close the window. So it was a hot stay. Other than that I would say this place is more about the location which is what you pay for. Good stay.

Nice Location, not as luxurious.

Apt is located at a pedestrian street, this is important for taxi and uber. Close to Le Halles train and has many supermarkets and a big shopping mall just 1-2 blocks away. Close to many attractions. Inside apartment is not as luxurious, very basic. It was clean on our arrival. Kitchen has everything you need. Sofas, towels, seemed overused. All is coordinated for a "independent check in" with codes, etc, but we would have appreciated the courtesy of a human being to show us around even if it was the cleaning team. This apartment is administered by a company and communication is always thru messages/ email. Very impersonal. We were a family of 4, size was ok for us. Having been to Paris before, this was an OK stay, not wonderful.

Don’t expect much from management

The positives are that the place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the area felt safe. The negatives are first, the entrance. The first door was broken and the code wasn’t necessary. Second, the walk down the hall and up the stairs to the apartment was a tad seedy. The apartment was a welcome relief and we came to like it. But we had told management that we were there to meet our four exchange students but they did not have enough beds made up. They suggested we look in a cabinet for more sheets, but they were in a bag to be washed—no additional clean linens They asked for any special requests and I asked for a yoga mat but they ignored the request. If they said they didn’t have one, that would have been fine. The emails don’t include a number to call except for emergencies so you’re left with emailing “the merveile team” and responses did not Include a number to call .

Unsafe

The apartment was fine but the front door glass to get into building was shattered as was the second security door glass. But when the actual apartment door would not lock from the inside and the host refused to fix it until after i left, i asked to leave 2 nights early as i felt entirely unsafe with broken security doors and an unlocked apartment door. They agreed to give me a refund for two nights all by messaging on the VRBO app with pictures included. This occurred mid December and i am still calling VRBO to find out about my credit 4 months later. The host doesn’t answer my calls or that of the VRBO agent when they attempt to call them. VRBO is entirely unhelpful closing the case before i get my credit and generally giving me the run around. Very frustrating and entirely unfair given the documentation by host to agreeing to refund me two nights. Do not trust this place or the host. Nothing wrong with location or apartment itself but host responsiveness is terrible! And VRBO has been useless with the claim.

I wouldn't call it a "luxury" place but overall the apartment is good. There were a few things I didn't like/should have been provided. The pictures show it being very light and bright but it isn't. It could use a lot better lighting and also lights over the countertop in the kitchen. We had a party of 5 but there were only glasses for 4 people. I found this extremely surprising as the apartment could hold 10. The agency did eventually come up with one additional wine glass and one water glass!

Great Stay!

Overall, this property was very nice to stay in. It was super clean and tidy when we first arrived and was mostly accurate to the photos and description on the site. It's definitely not "luxury" as the listing describes, but still lovely in a lot of ways. It's conveniently located in a vibrant, bustling area with lots of shops and restaurants to try. It's also in walking distance to many different metro/train stations. One of the downsides was that there was extremely loud construction directly outside and behind the apartment that woke us up very early every morning that was not mentioned to us at all when booking the property or before we came. It would have been nice to know since that is not really the sort of thing you want to experience during your vacation. We also had some issues with the furniture being broken during our stay, but the Merveil team was very apologetic about it and it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for us. They were also kind enough to let us store our bags before and after checkout, which helped us out a lot. I definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance - just bring some earplugs!

This charming apartment was perfect for an overnight stay. The location is convenient to shops and a variety of restaurants as well as walking distance to the train as well as attractions. All of the hosts were welcoming from the time of booking the apartment until arrival. Louis provided delicious recommendations for crepes that we indulged in for breakfast. The apartment was clean and I loved all of the upgrades to the amenities as well as the attention to detail in the finishes. I wish we had known you had properties in London as well, but will be sure to use you all again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful trip and stay. Shaun
