Enjoy the charm of a 1940's beach cottage right in the heart of San Diego.

Just 10-15 minutes drive from the airport this place is centrally located and close to downtown San Diego and Balboa Park,

Second floor accommodations just one block to sand water in Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego.

This one bedroom cottage is one of four in the same complex whereby all of the units are vacation rentals.

Plenty of privacy as this place is situated above the garage and has covered patio.

Sleeps up to four guests with a king bed and a full sized convertible sleeper sofa.

Please note the open floor plan as wall between the bedroom and living room does not go to the ceiling.

All linens and bath & beach towels provided.

Fully stocked kitchen.

Beach gear includes; 2 chairs, wagon, umbrella and cooler

Ocean Beach in the flight path of the San Diego airport. Planes can begin taking off at 6:30 am and the last departures typically occur around 11:30 pm. There is a curfew in place that prohibits departures between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.

We LOVED this place! Cold A/C, new appliances, comfortable mattress, nice big TV, and only a 5-min. walk to Dog Beach. After a day at the beach, it was great to return to our cozy little home. Oh, BTW, it was fully equipped with beach necessities: wagon, umbrella, boogie board, etc. and even a washer and dryer for our wet, sandy clothes. Highly recommended!

Super cute unit with everything you need. Great location with good food close by. We were able to get street parking for part of our stay so only used the private parking a few times. The private spot is not for those who have never done tight, atypical city parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the privacy this unit had to offer.

Actually Greg, I was simply pointing you to check in details which;) You continually tried to access your beach gear and laundry from the wrong door of the left side garage. Noted that you enter through the side door not the main door in the alley. Yet you didn't read details. I can only assume that guests can read and follow instructions. Same for Tv:) Wish I didn't have to ask guests not to dye their hair when on vacation but I do. Seemingly you are exaggerating your complaint about signage ;) Nevertheless I am so pleased that you ultimately enjoyed your stay. You had additional undisclosed guest on site and ignored my inquiry regarding this. Seems giving you the benefit of the doubt and not mentioning it in your review was a mistake:)

Perfect local spot for my visiting parents

I live locally and booked this spot for my parents who were visiting, and they had a wonderful experience. Huge bonus that there’s a king size bed, which they prefer. They were very comfortable with all of the amenities, and they especially appreciated the big private porch.
