We were very disappointed with our stay at this apartment. The photos on the listing did not accurately represent the actual condition of the property, and several significant issues made our experience frustrating.First, potential guests should be aware that the apartment requires climbing five full flights of stairs. Carrying luggage up that far is a real challenge, and this should be explicitly stated in the listing description so guests know what to expect.More importantly, the property has serious, unaddressed maintenance issues: Unresolved Water Heater Leak: There was an active leak coming from the water heater. We reported this to the host, who acknowledged the issue but took no steps to fix or mitigate it during our stay. Electrical Safety Hazard: To make matters worse, the water from the heater leak was dripping directly onto the power cable and electrical outlet, creating a major safety concern. Leaking Sink and Mold: Moisture from the kitchen sink was actively seeping through the wall into the living room, causing visible mold growth on the living room wall.Living with active water leaks, electrical risks, and visible mold is unacceptable. While the location in Florence is great, the host needs to fix these serious plumbing and structural issues before hosting future guests. I cannot recommend staying here in its current state.

Central Firenze Location

The location was awesome! It was central to Firenze - we could walk everywhere we wanted to go - including the Piazza del Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery. The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is on the 4th floor (74 steps/no elevator). We didn't prepare any food there, but it seemed that there were no basics such as cooking oil. It has two bathrooms. Host was very responsive in helping us check-in and out.

Renter beware

I arranged an early check in, and they were somewhat helpful with that. Plus Samer carried my suitcase up the stairs. But nowhere in the online description was there information that this was at the top of 4 flights of stairs and no elevator. That was the second bad thing. The first was the location: not ideal for a solo woman traveler. The third was the decor. I understand that Italians have different opinions about nudity, but they could have chosen other artwork to put on the wall in the hallway: fruit, angels, scenes of Italy, etc. But instead there are borderline indecent pictures. Perhaps not quite pornigraphy, but I definitely would not let young children stay there. I stayed long enough to use the wifi to book another hotel room and then left. The only reason this was a 2 star instead ofone is because they worked with me for an early check in and the place was clean.
