Amazing place, Amazing location and amazing hosts

over the last twenty years we have stayed in numerous cottages in northumberland and the lake district. They all lacked someting and never really felt like home, that was until we discovered Hetto Byre! we never stayed anywhere as spotlessly clean, well equipped and hosts that care so much about your time there. Beautiful setting away from the crowds. Comfortable cottage, great for ourselves very practical for the dogs. Well placed to access the beaches or inland attractions. The owners are great - very friendly and helpful. We obviously like it - this was our 5th visit and I am sure we'll be returning.

Hetton Byre is truly a home away from home. We have stayed on multiple occasions as we love it so much. It's in the perfect location for exploring the beaches or the countryside. Immaculate home from home accommodation in a beautiful setting.

We loved its ‘get away from it all’ location surrounded by beautiful countryside but not too far from the A1 for exploring Northumberland. The cottage was cosy and immaculate with absolutely everything we needed. Having a dog, we loved having our own pretty garden too.

Another amazing stay at Hetton Byre with fabulous hosts, we can't wait until our next stay

Perfect cosy cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside but within really easy reach of the coastline. This is our 4th time staying here we love it so much and can't wait until we're back again. The cottage is super dog friendly and has everything that you could need. It really is a home away from home. The owners Deb and Mike are brilliant, so friendly and welcoming and they are on hand for any queries and recommendations of places to visit. Could not recommend this cottage highly enough
