About this property
Heated pool home, canal gulf access, convenient to attractions, newly renovated
For the discriminate vacation seeking adult or business person who enjoys luxury in a quality island style setting on the mainland, this 1300 sq. ft. home was totally up fitted with new paint in 2022, hygienic tile throughout, all new cabinetry, appliances, and granite counter tops in 2017. The master bedroom with a King-sized bed has a dresser and double closets for your luggage and clothes, and shower with double vanity sinks. The cute second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, also with a dresser and full closet. The hall bath has a tub and full vanity. Both beds have memory foam dream mattresses. More than adequate sheets, linens, towels are supplied and can be maintained with washer and dryer in the garage. Some laundry detergent and softener may be left over, but you must provide these on your own for the duration of your stay. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your home prepared meals served on a 6 place table directly adjacent from which you can view the pool and canal. A coffee bar/eat up counter with Keurig or conventional coffee maker is also in the kitchen for morning coffee or those quick snacks from which you can see the TV. The comfortably appointed living area has a wall-mounted 55 inch LG "smart tv" with hard-wired DVD player. If you have an Iphone or Ipad, you can cast Amazon, Netflix or other viewing content directly to it with your account information (don't forget to bring it with you). It is also capable of streaming from wifi which is available and free. Additionally the TV is connected to a local amplified HD-TV antenna in order to receive all local live-TV-stations in best possible HD quality. The living area opens through triple stacking sliding doors to the screened terrace and 87 degree electric heated pool. On the screened lanai are sunning chairs, a four-place outdoor table, and a gas grill for those BBQ cooked dishes. This is also the only area smoking is allowed. Two basic bicycles can be used to explore the local area although helmets nor locks are provided. The dock and canal are accessible via a walkway from the lanai and make it easy to use your boat or a rental boat. The gulf waterway is a 10 minute boat ride (no bridges!) through the canals passing by beautiful waterfront properties to the Gulf waterway. Take your rental boat and explore over 400 miles of canals in Cape Coral or take the boat to one of many waterfront restaurants and islands in the area.
For maintenance I have different contractors to support you. For example weekly pool & lawn care, final cleaning, and handyman services. Together with the arrival guide you will receive a very detailed house guide. Arrival and departure days can be any day as long as it shows open at the availability calendar. Earliest check-in time can be 3:30 p.m. and latest check-out time 10:30 a.m. It is no problem to check-in late at night because we will supply you with the lock code for the entry door. You will have available free parking for your car in the driveway, in front of the house.
The home is ideal for a couple, but families of four are welcome. There is a $20/night charge in addition to the base rate for each overnight guest. This payment will be managed personally with the owner.
Although this is a quiet cul-de-sac street, you are within a 2 minute drive to downtown Cape Coral with plenty to do such as restaurants, pubs, boat rentals. Publix and Family Dollar are within easy biking distance. A 10 minute drive will get you to the Yacht Club area with a public beach Full descriptions of local businesses are in the arrival guide.

About the host
Hosted by Tim Powell

We are from Richmond, Va and Burgaw, NC originally but have lived on the southern outer banks of NC for 45 years together. The proximity to the ocean is what makes us happy. We have become frequent visitors to the Cape to visit parents at Shell Point.
Why they chose this property
Although we are rural in nature, we enjoyed the downtown aspect of Cape Coral being so close and still have quick access to the Gulf islands and beaches by boat. The house has been a labor of love while preparing it for future use by guests and us alike. Hurricane recovery has been our biggest challenge.
What makes this property unique
We are tropical plant lovers and appreciate the year round growing season here. We are able to cultivate our lime, mango, avocado, and banana trees along with the tropical palms and flowers that we so enjoy.
