About this property
1930’s CASITA - in the SWEET HEART of Santa Fe! (South Capital)
'CASA DITA' is an enchanting 1930's Adobe Casita in the Heart of Santa Fe! Location is really a plus for us at Casita Dita. You can walk to to the Plaza, Farmers Market/Railyard District and Canyon Road areas. The South Capital area where the casita is located is an established neighborhood with a great mix of architecture, old trees, small streets and residents.Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Kaune’s Neighborhood market are all within walking distance or a short 3 min. drive away.
The little casita has been maintained with loving attention and detail to comfort creating a warm and inviting turn-key experience. Enjoy sitting outside on the stone patio sipping your coffee in the sweet high desert air, or snuggled in front of the fire when winter comes.
For those looking for a respite from the BIG city or exploring "the oldest capital city " in the USA with all it's unique architecture, food, and culture, Santa Fe offers SO many options! Known for exceptional restaurants , Indian and Spanish markets, Ski Santa Fe Mountain, The World Class Santa Fe Opera and the Canyon Road Christmas Eve walk. All are experiences not to be missed. Considered one of the largest art markets in the country, Santa Fe offers exceptional gallery and museum experience.
* The history of the region is rich in culture and tradition. Day trips are a must. The Northern NM communities ( Taos, Chimayo, Truchas, Penasco, Mora) are a step back in time and very unique. The Native People of the region are still on their ancestral homelands and living in their Pueblos dotted along the Rio Grande. Pretty special.

About the host
Hosted by Robin Ross-Duggan

I love New Mexico! I have been fortunate to travel and live far and wide. I have come back to New Mexico 3 times living in 3 different places. I am enchanted by the history and the natural beauty. I have explored many aspects of Santa Fe. For years I came to Santa Fe to ski, enjoy the restaurants, museums and go to 10,000 Waves the exquisite Japanese spa up the ski Valley Road. I guess I need to admit that this is my home ..spiritual and physical.
Why they chose this property
Why not this property!? The second I saw it I fell in love with the charm and location. It seems to have all that I would require if I was coming to visit Santa Fe/New Mexico for the first time.I hope it charms you as well!
What makes this property unique
The South Capital allows for visitors to feel like they are a part of Santa Fe. It is an established neighborhood with old houses and trees and very walkable to so many great sites and restaurants. The casita itself has so much intrinsic charm.
