Hello to all, Happy Tuesday. Well, this review almost ruined my day but I have to accept that not everyone is going to be happy for what ever reason or love my awesome little house. I'm sorry for sure that John was not happy. I'm just seeing a pattern on this Vacation rental site, the guest from here are tough and expect way more for some reason. The other Vacation site that my rental is on I have 33, Five Star reviews (only)!! It blows my mind. I'm a Super Host. On this site I have guest saying things that keep surprising me. I have the same pictures and info on both sites. They are pretty straight forward and very clear pictures. If your looking for a totally remodeled house to stay in maybe my awesome house is not for you. Everything works great. My house is very affordable compared to what other similar rentals charge, very clean, cozy, close to everything, safe and so much more. I'm sure John saw that unless someone else booked it for him like a secretary or who knows. I don't get it. My first guest to stay at my house from this site gave me a 4 Star review and I'm still surprised and it makes me laugh when I think about it and tell others. I even told the guest because we are friends now. I let him stay at my personal home no charge because he arrived one day early. I never met him before complete stranger. I gave him a ride to the car rental place when his stay was over and let him hang out at my personal house all day and then gave him a ride to the airport later that evening, all no charge. And he gave me a 4 Star review. Since then I have realized that this site attracts a different crowd and that's ok. Higher expectation will make me a better host and keep me improving my house. Sorry John I have to accept your 1 Star but I don't have to agree with it. By the way you left the house awesome and you are always welcome. And you can leave me another 1 Star I don't care. All good. Please anyone reading this, ask me for a discount before you book if you feel the value is not worth what the site is charging, I'm easy. I know the house is small and older but it's a great value, great location and stay. Trust me. It's no Taj Mahal. Please keep booking my awesome little house because I'm having fun hosting and I will be spending more on the house as time goes on I always do. It has a New Roof, New Hot Water heater, New AC, Paint Job, Ceiling Fans, Upgraded Cable channels and so much more. Thank you all. The good and the bad.

Hello to all, I was hoping not to respond to Yolanda's review but I have to. We left as friends and still are. She said she wasn't going to review after sharing her issues and recommendations to me but she did anyway. Even after handing her cash for one of the nights. Right there it makes you wonder what her motives are. So here is my side and it's all the truth and no hard feelings. Her expectations must have been very high. The house is adorable and somethings she mentioned help me improve. She booked the house for ONE person. She had 3 stay there. It's ok but why not just say so, it helps the host. I bought over $100 of brand new stuff for her stay just because I wanted a single lady to have those things for her stay. Slippers, bedding, Wine, Soaps and more. She asked me for an early check in time the night before she arrived and I let her check in at 10am. The house was ready and I'm happy to do it. She asked for a late check out when she left and I let her stay til 2pm to have lunch with her daughter and leave her dogs at the house. And that was after all her complaints and supposedly bad stay. Check out is 11am normally. The TV was fixed before 3pm the normal check in time the first day so I don't know how she can complain. She got to check in early. The bed she mentioned was not and issue and if only one guest was staying nobody would have slept in that one it was in the second room. I thanked her for letting me know stuff to improve the house. The Shed door. Nobody ever mentioned it before and I didn't catch it. Fixed. Her dogs wondered into the shed and she didn't like that. She didn't like the Nest thermostat and she had issues working it so I called a AC company and put a regular thermostat in the house and checked the heating, it worked fine. I was happy to do it after she mentioned it because I don't want any future guest not being able to work it. Nest thermostat is different. I thanked her and paid $150 for a new one. If she was honest about the amount of guest I could have done more for her. 3 pairs of new slippers and more. I left her Tangelos, Wine and Healthy candy bars and cold water before her arrival. We spoke and text and I took care of all her dislikes and problems. She didn't even mention that. That's what hurts me. And the best part, she left dirty plates on the counter, food in the fridge, dirty floors and more. I reluctantly mentioned it to her after she left and she said it's because she pays a cleaning fee. Usually guest do much better. I still like Yolanda and she's always welcome to stay. I even offered her some free nights. She text me that I was going to hate her after I read her review and she asked me how to change it. I don't hate anyone. I didn't even read hers. Mine is the truth and I know it and so does Yolanda. I offered her to stay in my new vacation rental next year for free or this one for a few days so she can give me more ideas on how to improve them. I want her to see how I enjoy hosting and improving what I do. VRBO guest are great and I like what I'm doing so don't worry. I'm here for all my guest and want to be the best. She's not going to ruin it for all you and have me go back to renting them. She's going to make me a better vacation host. I truly think Yolanda's family was the ones behind the scene complaining because her and I were fine after all was said and done. Yolanda text me after she left and still doesn't think she needs to let host know how many guest will be staying. Most host only charge for more people when it's like over 6 so why not just let us know Yolanda?

Hello to all, I really don't even want to respond to any of this because it's so off. I would like to say don't rent to her. Her dogs went to the bathroom all over the house. She drove me crazy to check in early and was late checking out. The house was a complete mess. Some guest think the cleaning ladies do it all so they leave left over chinese food in the fridge along with so much more. Not one trash can empty and they we're there for 5 days. Dog poop all over the back yard and that's ok but on the back patio and in the garage and on the front porch. I love dogs and any pet and she was nice but not a good guest to stay in your house. My cleaning ladies charged me more. Anything that she says about my cute little house in the best area and well kept and the fastest internet and best cable and so much more is wrong. It's clean, I left cold waters in the fridge as a gift, treats and allowed her to check in early and then she just checked out late on her own. Thank you for the chance to tell the truth and the way it was. Have a great day everyone and stay safe.

This is an easy one! All I can say is Gene is why I love being a host. Love it! I expect to do things with my cleaning ladies after a guest leave, it's what we do as host but Gene left the house so nice it was like nobody stayed there. Oh my gosh, yes that nice. Guest pay for cleaning and should enjoy all and Gene did but he was just amazing as a person and guest and always welcome. If he books your place you are very lucky. Very nice and great sense of humor and always welcome at a special discount. Stay safe Gene and you and friends made my year. Thank you.

Hello to all. Larry and his family we're a gift as guest. The VRBO site has been hit and miss for me over the years. Hard guest to please and great guest. Lately I have hope again. Larry's family left my house so awesome after what I call a long stay. (over 7 days) The cleaning ladies we're so happy. Thank you Larry and your always welcome.
