About this property

Our independent house is on the beach side and has a new wooden gable roof, a completely new bathroom and a large kitchen.

Isolated individual house of 190 m2 covered, on two floors, with terrace, garden and barbecue.
A 5 minute walk from the beach of Armona Island.
They include: bath towels, sheets and blankets.
Equipped with iron, hair dryer, heater, fireplace, fan
Kitchen: Cozy and spacious kitchen with large windows to the outside, equipped with tables for 10 people, new oven, new sink, new washing machine, new dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, refrigerator, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, electric cataplana ...
Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms and 2 outdoor showers with hot and cold water.

Entertainment:
stereo, satellite and cable TV in LED television with flat screen and USB connection, blu ray, children's games, swing.
Outdoors: Shower with hot and cold water also outside to remove the sand and saltpeter from the beach, 2 sun loungers, 1 hanging hammock, new garden table, 13 garden chairs, 2 beach chairs, clothesline. New built-in barbecue with sink outside to enjoy the good Portuguese dishes.

Perfect location

We stayed at the house for 6 nights. My husband and I loved the location and being able to get up and go for a swim with no one around was magical. The views from the roof terrace can not be beaten! Just stunning. Will definitely come back.

Das Haus war für unsere 2 Familien (Eltern mit 2 Kleinkinder. Großeltern) sehr angenehm. Anfangs war es sehr schwer zu finden. Das Problem, daß bei unserer Ankunft nicht gereinigt und die Betten nicht neu überzogen waren, wurde sehr schnell von Ihnen schwierig waren allerdings die Milliarden von Ameisen.

Lovely House close to the beach

Lovely place to stay, big enough for a family but there were just the two of us. Great location, a. short walk away from the beach at the far end of the strip of housing.

Tolle läge auf Armona

Das Haus liegt super, man hat einen tollen Blick von der Dachterrasse aus aufs Meer. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Ein kleines Ärgernis war das aus einem Bad leider ein unangenehmer Geruch kam, der laut Angabe des Vermieters wegen der Kanalarbeiten kam. Der Vermieter hat zugesagt sich umgehend um das Problem zu kümmern. Also bei Anmietung den Vermieter fragen ob das Problem behoben ist. Sonst ist das Haus zu empfehlen und Armona ist eine traumhafte Insel.

prima maar met nogal wat aanmerkingen

communicatie over locatie en sleutels waren nihil (en uiteindelijk alleen spaans). het huis met tuin is leuk en aangenaam maar vertonen nogal wat gebreken en onvolkomenheden en of zijn niet opgeruimd,,, en die niet horen bij zo'n vakantiehuis en huurprijs. de locatie is goed, wel enigszins verder van winkels en locale restaurants en haven, maar dientengevolge weer dichter bij de stranden en de zee, er is voldoende privacy

Nice location but poor standard

We loved Armona. The house is charming however full of ants and cockroaches. The electricity kept cutting out. The standard of cleanliness was terrible. The glass shower door fell off in my hand. The host didn't leave any check in instructions and wouldn't answer the phone or messages. The number on the listing works but I got through to a very rude Spanish man who hung up on me twice after shouting at me in Spanish.

Casa férias ilha

No modo geral a zona da cozinha e sala são ótimos espaços. No entanto as casas de banho precisão de melhorias, as torneiras não funcionam e resguardo de duche partidos. O espaço exterior da parte trás poderia estar mais cuidado/limpo. Mas foram umas ótimo semana de férias. a casa está bem localizada, zona muito calma.

A house with love in every corner

As my sister said several times: a house with love in every corner. There is no shortage of reasons to love this house: it has two incredible terraces, a huge kitchen/dining room, and two patios, one with a barbecue. It is also very close to Praia Atlântica. The house is very complete. You can find everything you need for shopping (bags and trolleys) or even the beach. The photos are true to what is in the house. We highlight an aspect that is impossible to see in the pictures: everything you need to cook (from baking to grilling) is there. Every detail makes you feel at home, and there are so many of them! It's a great place to return to after staying late at the beach. WiFi works flawlessly wherever you are in the house. Juan is an excellent host, always ready to help and, at the same time, very kind and calm. This house is one of the best in Armona, and we will definitely be back as soon as possible. We recommend the house and thank Juan for his friendliness and availability.

Séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour sur l'ïle d'Armona. Nous avons apprécié la maison qui a beaucoup de charme et qui est bien située. Points positifs : les terrasses, les jeux de plage, caddies, canoé à disposition, proximité de la plage. L'échange avec le propriétaire a été agréable et facile. Les seuls points à améliorer seraient le lave-vaisselle (vieillissant et ne lave pas toujours très bien) et la 2ème salle de bain. Nous retournerons avec plaisir dans cette maison de vacances.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in deze leuke woning op het mooie eiland Armona, enkel de communicatie voor het inchecken liep wat mank, maar zeker de moeite waard om een vakantie door te brengen, wij raden dit zeker aan vrienden en kennissen

Tolles großes Haus mit Dachterrasse und nah am Strand

Wir (Familie mit drei Kindern) hatten eine super schöne Woche auf Armona. Das Haus ist groß, gut ausgestattet und verfügt über mehrere Terrassen. Die Lage in der zweiten Reihe ist toll - ruhig und dennoch nah am Hauptweg und Strand.

Beautiful spacious house in Paradise. Not for the faint hearted when the summer heat is at its height. Could do with ceiling fans and small upgrades to bathrooms but has to be one of the nicer houses on the island, and only a short walk to the best beach. Perfect family beach escape

Lovely Armona stay

We had a fantastic week staying at this house. Rustic Portugese style but well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and beach gear. Plus a kayak. Plenty of space. Thank you for having us, we hope to return.

Schönes Haus mit Dachterrasse

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und verfügt über viel Platz . Alle notwendigen Sachen sind enthalten und der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse über die Insel ist toll ! Das Schlafzimmer in der oberen Etage ist sehr schön aber leider recht heiß, eine Klimaanlage oder Deckenventilator wäre gut. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und problemloser Check in.

Autêntica e muito completa

Casa espaçosa que alia autenticidade da Ilha da Armona a conforto e comodidades melhorados. Esta é uma casa que se percebe que já tem alguns anos e que passou pelo processo normal de construção da Ilha, mas que foi sucessivamente ampliada e melhorada. Localização perfeita, perto da praia oceânica e na 2ª linha do caminho central da ilha, bom equilíbrio entre tranquilidade e proximidade. Sala de jantar enorme junto a cozinha moderna, decoração com bom gosto e muitos toques pessoais, muitos extras para usufruir da estadia: grelhador, cama de rede, brinquedos e itens de praia, WiFi estável (Só a televisão portuguesa não funciona porque a antena ainda é analógica e não TDT). Dois terraços, o mais elevado com vista panorâmica sobre toda a ilha. Quer o proprietário (Juan) quer a gestora do alojamento (Lena) muito solícitos, um à distância e a outra no local. E sobretudo um ambiente muito acolhedor e muito relaxante, perfeitamente em sintonia com a "vibe" da ilha. Gostámos muito.

Wonderful 6 days at this lovely Armona residence!

This was a very relaxing and memorable week in the Algarve - our first visit to this amazing part of Portugal and it will be hard to top. The house had everything we needed and we settled in right away. The hosts are great. We enjoyed all the different spaces to hang out, and all the homey touches. Hope to come back some day!

Schönes Haus auf traumhafter Insel

Das Ferienhaus lag in Strandnähe und ein wenig zurück in zweiter Reihe vom Hauptweg zwischen Fähre und Meer. Es ist geräumig und hübsch, mit zwei großen Terrassen und Grillplatz. Alles war sehr angenehm, nur ein paar Einzelheiten waren zu bemängeln, z.B., dass der Duschkopf defekt war und einige Fliesen im Haus defekt, so dass man barfuß sehr aufpassen musste. Insgesamt aber ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

We did not stop throughout the year, so we come to Armona serves as relaxation therapy, as there is no car to drive, or noise to endure, you can not rush to overwhelm, and it shows the character of its inhabitants.
Take this opportunity to explore the island (that's why my children do not have equal), long walks, bird watching and other marine species, catch clams, cockles, octopus and crabs that after going to the casserole (with just how well they know caught), swimming, playing in the sand, reading, original photographs and many more that can not be described in these lines, but they are reduced to and done in ENJOYING SINGLE LIFE with your family (which seems impossible with the current pace of life we often take most of us).

Why they chose this property

This property has been acquired because, coincidences that seems to introduce life, were in the area and fell in love with the house, the area and the island.
This home allows us to enjoy romantic evenings on the upper deck and make life on the outside, it has a large veranda with tables and barbecue to enjoy a good fish or meat in the company of family or friends.
Freedom here we can give them to our children, even small, we can not afford in our city and we want to enjoy a freer environment such as we enjoyed when we were children.

What makes this property unique

This home is located very close to the beach, just a walk, and has a beautiful roof top or from where the sea is contemplated terrace, the river and the lights of Olhão night as small candles vibrating air.
As it is not located on the main road, but parallel to it, so quiet as the intimacy are absolute.
It has a small garden surrounding the house, so it is not adjacent to other houses, and in the back the bouganvillas trees have become nesting birds and where we've seen more than a chameleon.
In winter you can gather around the fireplace having fun with board games or relax in the group with a good read and a nice background music.
If you opt for television, besides the satellite channels can be any device with a USB port to enjoy your favorite movies or documentaries.
