Wonderful house & garden

All rooms are absolutely huge and well appointed. We spent most of our time in the kitchen / living space which is bright and airy with bifold doors out to a glorious garden. We had a great stay and would recommend it for large family groups. Location-wise, it is literally a 10 minute walk into the city centre.

There were a couple of problems with the house that the host needs to fix although they didn't affect our stay, firstly when the shower on the first floor is used the water overflows down the outside at the front of the house because the it feeds into an open down pipe which is obviously blocked. This is already starting to damage the wall and create damp on the inside. The second problem is very minor; the front door bell doesn't worked which caused a slight probelm the first night when we ordered a delivered takeaway. We thought the house and garden were brilliant, it is exactly as described and we really enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful but cold

The place was great, but the boiler was not on when we arrived late November and the instructions to click Advance assumes it is on and the valves are open. No response from property manager. Very cold place for a few days till we figured it out. They did leave coffee and tea and milk and biscuits. Nice touch.
