Watch the tide, listen to frogs chorus in springtime, or head out to Point Reyes National Seashore, three miles south. Peaceful Retreat

Catherine and John are great hosts, communicative, helpful and kind. We appreciated all of their efforts to ensure our stay was peaceful. They even delivered cheese, crackers and fruit the first night of our stay. Their cottage is just outside of town, close to amenities, in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed hiking the area, especially Tomales Point Trail!

Great property

We loved our stay in Pt Reyes. The weather did not cooperate- we were there during an Atmospheric River. But this unit was cozy enough that we made a fun indoor day with movies and puzzles. We would definitely stay here again

2 Days in guest cottage.

Lovely stay. Host was very responsive and kind. Loved the kitchen, access to bbq, hot tub, and backyard was very pretty. We enjoyed the wood stove. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Lots of stars. Highly recommended.

Second Visit

We have stayed at this cottage two times now and thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time at this well -appointed clean rental. The location is close to town, is very private and quiet. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay, We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Quiet spacious light-filled cottage

Secluded private location but in walking distance to one trail, close to others, close to Pt. Reyes. Suitable for one couple, nicely renovated with clawfoot tub, plenty of hot water and water pressture, funky old kitchen oven and stovetop but otherwise quite modern, charming furniture. Lots of natural light in the cottage and lovely place to relax in the outdoor patio area. Only a few things I'd suggest for improvement:1. Please include address of cottage in orientation email.2. Add microwave to kitchen.3. Include kitchen sponge for cleaning up.4. Include extra boxes of tissue paper.5. Include some extra bathroom towels.

Magical Spot

What a great location. Close to all that is special about the Point Reyes/Inverness area. The accommodations were fantastic. Very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. It was very difficult to leave at the end of our stay. Great host. We'd love to come back.

A gem of a cottage

I can’t say enough about how amazing this cottage is. It’s quiet, cozy, comfortable, well maintained. The decor is right up my alley. The owners were very responsive when we had a minor problem that was quickly resolved. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back! Wish I could give ten stars!

Great vacation!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It is a beautiful space, great kitchen, nice outdoor sitting area and hot tub. We enjoyed meeting Catherine and John. They are great hosts and very helpful. We hope to return in the not too far future.

The cottage is large and very comfortable. There are a lot of different sitting areas both inside and outside to enjoy the views of the private backyard. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was clean. We enjoyed the stay.

Don’t tell too many people, yes it’s THAT good

Absolutely fabulous. The quiet the gardens the sun the privacy the stars the tub the kitchen and most of all the owners are so warm and obviously proud of their property. The only negative is leaving 😕

A lovely quiet place, perfect to explore and relax

The place was beautiful and so well maintained. Nice light both morning and evening. Only comment for us elder travelers . . . the TV and music system operated off of computer/other equipment the guest brought and cabled to their TV/music. Naturally, that's not the way we usually travel so just enjoyed quiet evening relaxing and reading and talking instead. Not such a bad idea.

Cute little cottage. Beautifully appointed. On the outskirts of Pt Reyes Station. Would have loved the garden to be taken care of but otherwise it was delightful.

A great weekend getaway!

This cottage was in a very quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of Pt. Reyes downtown area. It was nicely and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had come to hike, and we had lots of very scenic choices. The owners were right next door, but we would not have known they were there, especially with the artfully placed privacy fence. However when the electricity went out in a storm, they were at our door, offering to build us a fire and providing a ladder. We were happy and comfortable there, and we will definitely book again!

Spacey retreat with a good spirit

We enjoyed the area, the cottage and the spa. We cooked and found the kitchen well supplied and lacking nothing. We were not able to use the microwave, which is old fashioned, but perfectly managed to live without this modernity. The room is spacey, with an excellent collection of books and well designed light system. The wood burning stove makes it cozy. Catherine and John are very hospitable, helpful and friendly. The area is full of great trails and beaches. It is a place to relax and enjoy. Thank you, Catherine and John.

A quiet location in beautiful West Marin County overlooking Tomales Bay. Bountiful birds and animals. Lovely patio area with hot tub. Large studio cottage made cosy with antique and Indonesian furniture, beautiful exotic rugs and an inviting bed with crisp linens and a fluffy duvet. Fully equipped kitchen. Eclectic book collection. Every detail has been considered. Incredibly clean. The absolutely best part is the warmth of hosts Catherine and John. It is evident immediately that they are striving to give their guests not just a bed for the night but an experience of being pampered and cared for.
