Cool Spot

Weekend getaway for friends wedding @ Samual Taylor park. Perfect location for our situation. Short drive to the redwoods, walking distance to cool local “dive” bar. It was ideal for our trip.

The studio was in excellent condition, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was very convenient for visiting Samuel P. Taylor State Park and relatively convenient for visiting Point Reyes. Although the sound of traffic on Sir Francis Drake Blvd was not too bad, the noise from the hosts was very noticeable when they or their dog were in the room overhead as the sounds from their footsteps, bouncing ball for the dog, and dog barking reverberated.

Quiet place, kind and responsive host

A nice, quiet property alongside the highway that was a perfect 4th of July getaway for me and my sensitive dog. The nice little yard is perfect for hanging out with the pet, and the property was very clean and neat. There was a small VRBO mix-up with the reservation, but Amanda was quick to respond and very helpful. I hope to be back.

Quiet clean studio

The studio was clean, modern, comfortable and sunny. We went to escape the east bay fireworks on the Fourth of July and happily there was not one firework! The yard could use an umbrella for shade. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs!!! Do beware of all the burrs in the yard. We did have a good time walking our dogs in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful area! Overall we were comfortable and only had some minor wishes for a microwave, paper towels in the kitchen and a dish drainer for washed dishes. You can definitely hear folks walking on the floor above you. This isn’t a place to hang out in, so go out and have some fun! It’s a good place to land in between the fun.

Great location

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. The studio was clean and quiet. Being able to bring our dog was really helpful and he had a great time too. The location was near plenty of hiking/biking and the ocean. There's a great Italian restaurant right up the road(can't remember the name but it's the only Italian restaurant near by). We'll be coming back for sure!
