Great location. Neighborhood was quiet and secluded. We were just a few minutes away from town but really left like we were on our own little mountain.
Lots to do I. lake Lure/Chimney Rock.
Very cute and quiet. Was disappointed it wasn’t on the lake or close to it.

Fun time with family.
Enjoyed the cabin especially the back porch. Clean and comfortable. Good memories made. Host was very friendly and responsive. She went out of her way to be helpful.
We enjoyed our stat at this cabin. It was very clean. The owner was always available to answer questions. She gave us some great places to eat. Loved having on-site laundry. The only thing I would say is that the beds were rough. The Lake was great. Very family friendly.

We have a main master bedroom with queensize mattress and boxspring, good bed for adults/everyone. The smaller bedroom has twin beds with mattresses only, less firm because of no boxspring, good for children and smaller adults.
The property was just like the pictures, quiant and spacious common area. Perfect for a small family. The beds could be more comfortable particularly the ones with twin beds. They appeared to be more like cots.
Everything was in order and clean. The drive from the front gate to the house was a little lengthy and would be best for those that have an suv or truck. My sedan could barely handle the little over a mile of unpaved road but managed since we didn't drive in snow or rain. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your stay. The bed in the master bedroom is a queen size bed, mattress and box spring. The twin beds are mattress beds, not cots. They are better suited for smaller adults or children.
We drive a Ford CMax to the cabin and manage the road fine. It is a natural area with maintained but gravel roads.
My 5 year old daughter and I stayed the weekend at this lovely cabin. Sadly, half of our other party was sick and had to stay home. The property was EXTREMELY clean upon check in. So peaceful and well stocked with amenities. The host was very responsive and was a pleasure to deal with. I can’t give this place enough stars. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful time, the cabin was super clean, greatly equipped and the owner was very helpful when we had questions. Thank for you the wonderful memories!
My family had such a great time in the cabin and community. Everything was extremely clean! We loved the swimming hole and local beach within the community. We will be coming back in the future!
Perfect spot for our needs of one adult and two older children. The lake was fantastic and the house had all of the amenities available to use at the lake. Nice quiet spot in the mountains with close access to groceries and day trips to Asheville for additional adventures.
This was a great place to stay! It was just two of us but it had space for 2 kids. We loved the cabin and the location of it. We actually have an offer in on a piece of land in the community!
The property was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location to be able to enjoy the blue ridge mountains as well as chimney rock. Plenty of hiking and just enjoying the outdoors.
We had a WONDERFUL time. We did a lot of walking and spent time together. This is the perfect place to enjoy each other and enjoy the outdoors. I could see from the games and outdoor toys that if we had children, they would have loved it too.
The title pretty much sums it up. I almost felt like I had to whisper out on the deck so I wouldn’t disturb the quiet. Cooking was easy, everything was right there. If you do want to treat yourself to a lunch or dinner out I 100% recommend Lured Market and Grill.

About the host

We are a blended family from Indianapolis In, Pleasant Garden NC, and Port au Prince Haiti, living in Pittsboro, NC.
Why they chose this property
We purchased our cabin because of our love of the NC mountains. As a family we enjoy hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. The location of the cabin has allowed our family to spend weekends, holidays, and summer vacations in the Mountains. We love the Asheville area and the surrounding destination locations.
What makes this property unique
Swimming in Big Mirror Lake surrounded by mountains is a wonderful experience. We can be off for the day to great hiking, mountain biking or Asheville. Only to come back for another lovely evening swim.
