Astoria Cozy-Beautiful Cozy Condo in the Heart of Downtown Victoria by Victoria Prime!

Welcome to Astoria Cozy!

Please note that this accommodation requires a minimum 90-night stay as per the new provincial short-term rental legislation.

This cozy space is decorated and furnished like a well-appointed hotel room, but comes with all the comforts and provisions of home. The sleeping area is separate from the living area in an alcove like bedroom. Walk to award-winning restaurants, or stay in and make your dinner using fresh local produce and the in suite appliances; stroll to the IMAX or McPherson Playhouse for a date night, or stay in and enjoy popcorn and a movie on the hi-def TV - there is no end to the ways to make the most of your stay in Victoria.

Important Notes:

You will receive the important check-in information email and text message with the check-in instructions 7 days before arrival. Check-in starts at 4 pm P.S.T.

GARAGE HEIGHT: 6'8" (2.03 m) - If you have a large vehicle, please ensure that your vehicle will fit the garage height restriction.

Each Astoria unit has a bike rack at the back of it's parking spot, with room for two or three bikes. Your own cable and lock are required. Please advise our Representative if you are bringing bikes. You may also rent bikes while you are here. Many of the bike rental companies will allow them to be stored on their premises at the end of the day even if you rent them for a week.

Victoria is the busy, vibrant and growing capital of British Columbia. Just as in many cities in BC, Canada and likely other countries in the world, we are experiencing a shortage of housing. In dealing with this situation there are several new buildings being constructed in the downtown core, and elsewhere. We recognize that there could be some daytime noise but are confident that it will not interfere with your time in beautiful Victoria.

Astoria Cozy: Great location

The suite was quite good and we enjoyed the building. The parking was convenient and secure and we were able to lock our bikes within the slot allotted for parking. Their was a good exercise room and billiards common area that was also nice. Overall, it was a good stay in the heart of downtown Victoria.

Getaway

Great little efficiency to use as home base while exploring Victoria. Hotter inside than outside so opening windows results in a lot of road noise (buses and motorcycles)

All you need!

Excellent option if you want to be close to the Conference Centre and the harbour! Perfect for one or two people. Very secure as well. The kitchen has everything you would want. The owners are responsive and helpful. Busses are right out front. Very pleased with this stay! Thank you.

Clean and Walkable to Harbor and downtown Victoria!

This small but comfortable studio is perfect for a singles or couples! It’s walkable to Restaurants, shops, and Beacon Park. We arrived in our rental car by Black Ball Ferry at the Harbor. If you travel with backpacks, you could easily walk to this apartment. Otherwise, I would catch a cab, if you don’t have a car. Parking is free on site. We stayed 4 nights, enjoyed breakfast at the apartment and evening happy hours out on the balcony. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking. Full size stackable washer and dryer worked great! Very small, but clean and cozy. Communication with host was excellent for check in process. Definitely would love to stay here again.

Convenient but complicated

Check in was complicated! Getting key at one location and then all the keys and procedure needed for entry was too much! The VRBO needs an on-site person or office. It would make checking in and out easier by holding bags until check in time and after check out. We would have had 4 hours of pulling our bags if another nearby hospitality business hadn’t helped us out!

Good Downtown Victoria home base

Very conveniently located. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable. Easy to communicate with management. We did not use the place much as we were spending most of the days with friends. The negatives were: the accommodation was consistently too hot. 24-26C when we returned at the end of the day, even after following all instructions regarding opening windows and doors and turning "off" baseboard heat. The first day we had to walk up to the 14th floor because the elevator wasn't working. We only got one set of bath towels for 2 people. Coffee in the cupboard would have been appreciated.

Worth the price

We spent our wedding anniversary on this property. I'm glad I booked it. The location was within walking distance to a lot places and there was on site parking. It was a perfect get away.

Cozy apartment

Wonderful location, loved our stay in this charming apartment. It is close to everything., we walked everywhere. So nice to park the car and leave it there. The apartment had everything we needed, so clean and comfortable. And quiet. We loved it and would stay again.

Great location, just behind the Empress. Used BC Cycle one block away for EBike rental. Starbucks a few steps away. Nice building, underground parking stall. Great communication with property manager, met us at Building for check in. Very clean condo, nice updated finishings and appliances. No AC, windows opened on deck, would like screens on windows and deck door but no issue with insects. Visit was July so it did get warm in the condo. Ceiling fan over bed would be helpful. There was one stand up fan in suite. Overall we enjoyed staying at this Apartment because of the location, underground parking and cleanliness of suite. We would stay here again!

Great little place

This is a great little place, very well stock with amenities and kitchen utensils etc (lots of knives, good quality cooking utensils etc). All very neat and orderly, perfect for our needs.

Awesome location!!

Astoria Cozy was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well stocked and you cannot beat the location. Editha, Maureen and Ted were professional, friendly and helpful to deal with at the property management company, their communication was excellent. We will definitely stay again in one of their rentals.

Magnificent !

We loved everything about our stay - the location was superb; within walking distance to absolutely everything, even to the car rental agency for the days we wanted a car ! The accommodations were cozy & comfortable for the times we just wanted to kick back and relax. Building security was excellent; we felt very secure for ourselves and our belongings.

Great location for us

Walking distance to all of downtown Victoria, great since we weren't driving. Nice views from the balcony (except for the forest fire smoke!) Convenient & well equipped kitchen. Grateful for the tower fan in bedroom since it was a bit stuffy.

Beautiful Cozy Condo

This condo is clean is clean and comfortable - perfect for a couple. The location is 2nd to none - close to everything you need for a quick visit to Victoria - downtown, harbour, Cook Street, etc. Great for a walking visit!!! The only comment I would make is no A/C but they do supply fans which helped. Elevator was really quick. We would definitely stay again!!
