WELCOME TO LAUGHING WHALE COTTAGE!! A rarity to have 2 attached sides under one roof so you can vacation together but have your privacy too! A charming and stylishly remodeled vintage beach cottage consisting of the 2 complete, attached units of our single level duplex home. The units share their enclosed front patios by a door which can be opened to connect the patios or closed if part of your group wants some privacy (for say, sleeping late!). About a 90 second walk to the sand, you can easily enjoy the beach for your morning coffee or spend the day enjoying the sun, soft sand, and ocean breezes while swimming or shelling. Park in back, walk right in! We have private, large concrete parking both front and back. WE INCLUDE ALL LINENS AND BEACH GEAR!! SUPPLIES WE PROVIDE: PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER, DISH SOAP, DISHWASHER SOAP, HAND SOAP, TRASH BAGS, LAUNDRY SUPPLIES, TIN FOIL, PLASTIC ZIP LOCK BAGS, COFFEE, SUGAR, CREAM, AND 2 GALLONS OF BOTTLED WATER. ALL LINENS INCLUDING BEACH TOWELS. BEACH CHAIRS, BEACH UMBRELLA, ROLLING BEACH CART, LARGE AND SMALL COOLERS, SAND TOYS, CORN HOLE GAME. ***FREE WIFI, CABLE PACKAGE WITH AND NETFLIX.

A true vintage beach cottage duplex, LAUGHING WHALE COTTAGE has undergone a big restoration and renovation to provide all the quality, charm and character you want for your beach vacation. You have the use of the ENTIRE property to yourselves for parking, relaxing, BBQing, games or dining. The pictures say it all: original ceilings and beams, new shiplap walls, 2 full kitchens and 2 full/2 half bathrooms with all new fixtures including full size washer and dryer! Since this house is furnished for use by us, our family and friends, you will find comfy beds, new and vintage furniture, and top quality linens such as Tommy Bahama and Ralph Lauren. There is an enclosed front patio with climate control with table and chairs for dining or games. In back is a covered wood porch and gas grill so you can BBQ, play corn hole (provided) and sit under the pair of oaks that are lit for night time enjoyment. There is an enclosed outdoor shower and shell washing station (great for sandy toys too).
You are a short walk to several restaurants/bars and a short drive to SO many restaurants, shopping, golf, miniature golf, and bowling. Minutes from Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, and many other local attractions, as well as all the tourist attractions in Myrtle Beach. There are many special events here in NMB such as Thursday free summer concerts downtown.


***We have ALWAYS taken great care in the cleanliness of our rental as you can see from even our first reviews. We have ALWAYS used bleach based products as well as disinfectant wipes to clean all high touch surfaces, counters, light switches, handles, door knobs, remote controls and even EACH page of our guest book! We also provide a bottle of disinfecting cleaner for guests to use.
**Please note we have exterior, motion activated cameras.

LAYOUT:

EACH side features a kitchen, dining set with 4 chairs, living room. The 2 front patios additionally have table/chair seating for 10 (when connecting door is open) with 2 extra chairs.
EACH side has a primary bedroom with king size bed. The second bedroom on one side has 2 queen beds, the other side second bedroom has 1 queen and 1 full bed. The sofas are NOT sleepers.
Both sides has a full size washer and dryer.

Living rooms have a large flat screen TV, sofa, love seat and chair.

Kitchens have dishwasher, full oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Blender, iron and ironing board available by request.

NO SMOKINGS OR VAPING ANYWHERE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE PROPERTY!
